I can’t say anything about the other reviewers who have had bad experiences here, but as for me, the two times I’ve been here I’ve had a very sarcastic postal worker help me, and it’s made my day both times. Not a rude kind of sarcastic, a funny one. Just super dry humor, really wholesome. I love quipping back and forth. I wish all retail workers were so funny & friendly! I can’t remember because it was so long in-between visits, but I believe there were two separate workers who were like that:
Nearly every time that I come here, it is the most depressing atmosphere in town. No matter how many times you say hello, good afternoon, good morning or goodnight, majority of the employees seem so miserable to be here. On today’s visit, the long-haired fella in his early 30s, never gave me eye contact, never acknowledged my goodbye, or my hello. Maybe something is going on in his life, but this is the fourth time that I’ve been in here within the last month and the second time I’ve had him, and he just randomly chooses to talk to you and who not to talk to. Sad to see the direction government continues to go.
This office needs a complete restaffing, management included. It's notorious even amongst other USPS workers from other nearby offices. Our package was dropped off at this location, sat for three days with no scan/updates, then when it was finally scanned it remained "in transit" for over a week now, never arriving at any further locations to this day. It's the most disorganized location in the state. Don't waste your time or money because USPS has no reason or will to help you when these workers mess up your delivery. I'd give it 0 stars if I could.
When a house is built the post office has to approve the address. This place allowed 9 houses with the exact same address. As a result I have about a 10% chance of getting my mail. I spoke the post master 4 times. The 5th & 6th time when he saw me he went and hid in his office. I now have a post office box in a different town that I have to pay for, but I get my mail. I still get other peoples mail in my mail box in front of the house, but it’s only been 21 years.
Used to love the workers here. Who ever was working today black lady with short blonde hair was super unhelpful and monotone. Would've loved if she was willing to actually help instead of being a rude bump on a log. Disappointing
Just like any other USPS store which has everything else perfect/great with one thing or other seriously wrong. I have always loved USPS self service and the very reasonable prices they have to send even complex stuff like cell phones, for which some other brands like UPS and FedEx charge 4x more. The ladies in the staff are very sweet and assist with anything you need. There is however one gentlemanAsian in the staff who is extremely rude and unforgiving to anybody and everybody who go to his counter. I myself am Asian and have had a terrible experience with him. Such people give USPS and Asia a bad name! Avoid this person and you're good with this branch.
Love coming up to this post office, I find being friendly and upbeat goes a long way with the postal workers. They are so patient and helpful too! Inside is clean and while I know they can get backed up easily they take it in stride. Never had an issue with my mail here, I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this location
What a change of scenery at the post office. 4/6/2022. It was always a nice visit evertime not like today. So my previous 5 stars is down to 3. TO Clerk:OB, you have to learn how customer service is done and you don't even listen to what customer is saying. You just stand there and act as if there is nothing going on. Check the price on the photo. Don't I have the right to question that you are charging more than the price tag? It may cents only but you can't act that way and tell me whatever the price in the price tag, your charge will still the same. It's the courtesy that matters not the price. It may be cents only but it still matters.
Extremely rude employees. Not sure if the woman claiming to be manager was actually the manager. If so she needs to be replaced. Treating multiple customers like an inconvenience, making snarky comments trying to rush us. Will not be back to this location.
I had no idea when making a passport appointment that made you entitled to cut the line and tell them when you arrive I thought you had to wait in line like a normal person and like the signs in the post office said so I waited with my son until it was our turn get to the counter it is 6 minutes passed our appointment time when we got there at least 10 min early from our time... the gentleman says no sorry we can not take you, you're late... and then I asked so I was supposed to cut everyone else he says yes still keeping his professional composure when I lost my cool I then said I'm going to be a Karen I'd like to see the manager please! So he goes and gets her for me her name is Jessica and she is the sweetest understanding person I have encountered there. She went above and beyond to help me schedule same day appointment at another location so I didn't have to keep taking my son out of school Huge shout out to them for being Profesional and doing all that they could and especially for a place being so under staffed
