I am happy to see that the new management is starting to clean this branch up. They are cleaning up the lot and making it look more functional and maintained. Love the Breast Cancer Awareness decor also!
never in my life have i had a worst experience with a post office. i had to go to this post office instead of my regular one to get a mail key for a new address and not only have none of my phone calls been answered i have called 10+ times multiple times a day, at different times of the day, sometimes back to back and its not the wrong number!!!!!! its the one that starts with a voice recording saying "Lynn Haven Post Office" so i know its the right one!!!! but on top of that, when i went in to fill out the form for my mail key and had to bring a paper copy of my lease, where the apartment number was WRITTEN DOWN in BIG NUMBERS, the employee wrote down the WRONG NUMBER after repeating back to me the correct number. I understand that accidents can happen, but to have multiple instances where carelessness or lack of attention has caused so much wasted time i cant deal with it anymore. if you have any choice, do not go here. the only forgivable quality of this location is that ONE of the employees. ONE. of them. is nice and jovial. every single other one is abrasive and inattentive. I understand not wanting to do your job. i understand that it can be a difficult job. but when you are actively making the job harder for yourself by being careless and aggressive to your patrons, i have no sympathy for you.
I wish I could leave this place negative stars. They are TERRIBLE. I never had issues with mail until I moved here. They lose and damage packages, or just outright don’t deliver them. Each time I get a note saying “Undeliverable”. I have a parcel box and if the package is too big for it, UPS and FedEx always leaves it at my door. USPS is the only company I have issues with. Not only do they refuse to deliver the package, saying it’s undeliverable, but they don’t even return it to sender. Idk what happens to the packages from there but I can’t get a refund when they don’t send the package back where it shipped from. I never get an answer on the phone and when I call the 800 number, I’m told that if I didn’t purchase insurance, USPS isn’t responsible for lost or damaged packages. One of the MANY times they’ve cost me money is when they ruined an $80 pack of my child’s school photos. That said in huge red letters on both sides of the package “PHOTOS - DO NOT BEND”. The carrier shoved it into the mailbox and ruined them, and USPS refused to replace them. So sick of this place.
The female cashier at this location is extremely rude. She answered every question I had with hostility and sarcasm. I explained the addresesses were flipped on the box that I was returning and she said that I can't do that and went on a tirade about priority shipping. I asked her how we could get the address corrected and she finally just handed me a blank label to rewrite the addresses. She could have done this in the first place. She genuinely made me feel bad before pushing me off unto her male associate to finish shipping. She made sporadic and unprofessional comments the rest of the time I was in there shipping the package. USPS needs to find associates who actually want to work and are consumer oriented, or retrain their current staff on how to politely respond to questions and assist customers.
I send out a large quarterly newsletter mailing and the staff are always helpful to me. It's convenient to my place of business and if there is a line it always moves swiftly.
Now my mail carrier has came up with something else to be lazy about. Now my mailbox is breakdown at the road. Over the years The door isn't in the best of shape. With that being said it's funny how every time I get the mail after the mail carrier has left the door open on the mailbox I shut it. In the morning when I go to work it's still shut. Every time I get home the door on the mailbox is open. The mail carrier cannot make enough of an effort to simply push the lid shut on my mailbox. I know there are a lot of good mail carriers out there. But some of the worst I have ever had are here. No pride in their job. Or care for the people they serve. Feels like they're just doing the bare minimum to make sure they still get their paycheck. I don't know if I need to start invoicing USPS for taking the mail they give me to the address that's clearly listed on it. It's just carelessness. The correct address is on the envelope/package but it doesn't fail that I am delivering mail a few times a year. But at least I know they're not just picking on me. My neighbors bring my mail to me also. Amazon is starting to give me issues now that I've claimed a few time that delivery not occurred. Maybe it'll get better.
This is a large Post Office. They did not have a long line to wait. And they had 3 windows open. They also have a large selection of mail supplies, postcards, and mail boxes. I was helped by 2 different people and they are very friendly. I was in-and-out of here in less than 5 minutes.
They ALWAYS loose my mail. Or accidentally put MY PACKAGES in the wrong mailbox. I am DONE. Hundreds of dollars down the drain.
The staff has always been extremely professional, and has shown a true passion for their jobs. They do the best they can with a huge amount of volume that goes through this post office.
This post office is always sending my stuff to the wrong address. All they see is number and deliver to the wrong street. It's so frustrating
