Another great beautiful and amazing day. Maurice was and is absolutely awesome. He was very helpful today. I really do appreciate his service. Please visit and follow us on TikTok at enjoybeingyourself because we are all essential. It’s the smiles for me
PLEASE STOP LIMITING THE DROPBOX FROM RECEIVING PACKAGES. IT NEVER GOT JAMMED THIS CONSISTENTLY. RIDICULOUS. 2 MONTHS AGO YOU LOST A CERTIFIED LETTER THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TO A PO BOX IN YOUR BUILDING. CERTIFIED MAIL AND YET IT STILL WAS NOT DELIVERED. Wheelchair accessible with challenges pot holes. Milton is the only consistently polite & efficient person at the front desk at this location. If it wasn't for him ALL our shipping would be done elsewhere. I ship often and use the kiosk at all costs. The place is filthy. It is very hard to run a business with the attitude & lack of professionalism at this location. They do not open until 10:00 a.m due to "COVID" and employees do not realize that online business owners being able to ship helps keep them in business as well. All their chit chatting can be overheard in the main areas and there is so much of it going on. On top of limited hours and rude workers, they lock the Dropbox on weekends sometimes. There are orders that I need sent out and making several trips due to dropbox not being available is a waste of my time, money & efficiency. Sorry if I can't stand around and wait until the window opens at 10am to have a simple question answered about a shipment dropped the day before. DROPBOX OFTEN DOES NOT HAVE A BIN TO CATCH OUR ITEMS AND THEY HIT THE FLOOR. GUESS THESE FOLKS DO NOT REALIZE WE CAN HEAR AND SEE THROUGH THE MAIL SLOT THAT OUR PACKAGES ARE FALLING HARD ONTO THE FLOOR. RIDICULOUS! I drop prepaid shipments DAILY and it just never improves. THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE to this USPS called 'LOCAL POSTAL' which receives : UPS, USPS & FEDEX packages. It is well worth the extra drive. I used to be anti-Amazon because of what it does to the USPS employees' pension. But I just might consider selling on it now. 0 respect or courtesy. The local Dollar Tree has better customer service and I am sure they don't make near as much income. On top of everything the parking entrance has a gigantic pothole. Already I'm having to do all my drops directly from the USPS to get them to my customers on time otherwise they get lost mishandled, destroyed or flat out disappear. Either go to a different USPS or switch carriers. You will wait in line forever at this location... line is always to through the entire place. This is ridiculous. We are done here. Best of luck to you, folks. Be careful what you chit chat about.. it might end up online soon. Keep treating people the way you do allthewhile gossipping and treating us as insignificant. No wonder all our shipments have been backed up. Long line and only one counter open...sometimes 2. If you do business regularly or are limited on time go to Local Postal. The difference in distance will save you on time in line and stress.
My first visit to this post office was unpleasant. The customer service was lacking, and they seemed to think it was funny that I had just moved and was without full access to my mail. They were not helpful at all.
Someone stole my mail from this post office at 7:13pm like since when did y’all start staying open pass 5:30. And my post office is in Dunn why did my package not get rerouted to the Dunn office or sent back to sender. Plus y’all don’t answer the phone, but open past 7pm yeah right.? Garner don’t even have an address similar to mine so why did you accept my package and not send to the correct PO that was on my package for my delivery address. A claim has been filed and I pray the USPS is able to find the individuals involved. Like really we stealing mail now.
267 Timber Dr, Garner facility had absolutely horrible customer service. Both clerks couldn't be bothered to help, and I ended up having to use the self service kiosk they have to mail out a package. Going to skip this location next time I need to go to a post office.
What is up with the Garner post office delivering this same person's packages to my house over and over.? This has been going on for more than two years now. Our street numbers nor our street names are the same. They just delivered two more packages yesterday Sunday. It's clear that the driver is not paying attention. I've been nice and driven the packages to the person's house. But this time and going forward, I am going to make the USPS come back and get these things. We get her mail also. It shouldn't be that hard to read the house number and realized they aren't the same. It shouldn't be that hard to look at the street name and realized they aren't the same. I should get paid for delivering all of these packages and mail. Please address this issue.
These people are rude, unprofessional and surly. Once I get my issue resolved, I'll travel ACROSS TOWN to a PROFESSIONAL Post office...A DISGRACE
I do not live locally but had a need to speak with the postmaster at the Garner post office about an unsatisfactory certified mail delivery. Have now called several times during the past week and no one ever answers the phone. Leave it to the US Postal Service to make an already bad experience even worse.
The postal clerks are always helpful and efficient. The mail delivery person works very hard and gets it right 99% of the time. Handling so much volume on a daily basis there's bound to be a mistake here and there, but they work hard to make it right. I think they do a good job overall.
Conveniently located so that we are able to combine our weekly errands. We make frequent stops here and have mailed medium sized packages, letters and purchased stamps. Everyone has always been very friendly. Back in the day they had three really super employees working here that would always remember us, and when my daughter was young they'd give her stickers too. I always smile, and in my experience a smile has always been returned here. Without the people working the long hours at this thankless job, the Post Office simply wouldn't exist.
