Incredibly rude staff, i was asking questions politely about our mail being forwarded and the clerk decide to wave in another customer. The line then began to make fun of the fact we were from NJ as I had to give my old address out loud for them to look it up. I thought there was southern hospitality down south, boy was I wrong.
The SANTA ROSA BEACH, FLORIDA post office is BY FAR the best and most professional post office I have EVER dealt with in my 78 year. They should be awarded a merit award of some king from the national USPS. Thank you to all the great people who work there, and the supervisor who goes above and beyond!!!
Good employees idk what the other reviews are talking about. They do their job well and aren’t mean or mad ever.
Lady at the counter had me wait 28 minutes just to tell me when I got up there she wasn’t going to ship my packages. She took the person behind me in line though which seems odd, might need to be more “southern” next time to receive service.
Worst post office in FL. Continuous lost mails, misdeliveries. Rude staff.
These folks are the best and work as hard as they can. Despite their limited space and facility, they are top notch. For us that live here, they know us by name. For everyone who comes here and wants to get a one-time package, please keep in mind that the mail carriers are subcontractors, as we're a rural area with rural mail routes. Don't take up your complaints with the local post office. If you don't like that our mail circulates through Pensacola prior to distribution, take it up with the postmaster who oversees the state. Have some patience and be kind to these people. Leanna and Jasmine will go above and beyond if you give them a chance and keep a great attitude even when "in the weeds" as we service industry folks say. You come here to a beautiful place to either stay for the Summer or on vacation. Just remember this is a very quaint small place. Aside from the beach and backdrop, isn't the hometown feel why you like coming here? We love and appreciate our neighborhood post office. If you don't like it, don't try to get a package sent here. If you have to stand in line, at least you are greeted by real, hard-working people - not just kiosks.
We had a transaction that not all employees were familiar with, however they took the time to find the right person to help us. From the postmaster to Kira and Jasmine, all were very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much!
Jasmine in the office helped me so incredibly much i almost cried..i didnt even have to beg..she offered to help with a smile. She even helped me lift my box!!! So happy to know people still helping inexperienced shippers like myself!!!
I'd give a negative score if I could. I moved to area in 2020. I went into the post office to explain the prior owner did not leave any keys behind to open the box. I was given a new key, and told that the lock would be replaced in a cpl of days. Here I am in June of 2021 after multiple visits and it has still yet to be replaced. Unacceptable! I guess I'm going to have to camp out by the box to catch the mail carrier.
The epitome of poor customer service. Although the main responsibility of a post office is to deliver a package to the person to whom it is addressed, at the address listed on the package, this particular post office proved unable to do that during my stay at Watercolor. When I went to the post office to investigate what may have happened to my package, they were unable to tell me why it was not delivered or where it might be. In fact, they acted like I was the crazy one for expecting that they should be able to deliver the package to the appropriate person and address. After watching the attendant provide poor customer service to the two customers in front of me, my turn came as well. At least they were consistent, but customer service doesn't seem to be in their vocabulary.
