Worst post office experience, actually it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Three postal workers at this post office refused to answer questions, refused to help, and actually walked away from me as I was speaking. I was told that it had been explained well enough and to leave. To be clear, no one had even tried to track my package or type the tracking number into their computer. I was stranded and needed the car keys that were being mailed to me, and just needed to know if I needed to book a hotel room or if the keys would arrive by evening time. Horrible.
Beware of this location. Once before, I was told to cover the "Priority mail" signage on a recycled usps Priority parcel box if I wanted to pay ground. So I did that next time I went there. Then, I was told that no matter, I'll need to pay the Priority rate, which ended much more expensive than ground, of course. These people here are unprofessional and unscrupulous.
The woman that does passports is so rude with a major attitude problem. Dear god, I’ve never felt like I was such an inconvenience to someone more in my life.
Would give zero stars if I could. The unique hoops you have to jump through to get a package here are already insane enough as it is. Nowhere else on earth do you get “package delivery failed” messages or notifications that “customer requested package be held at the post office” only to be told at the post office that none of that was true since you didn’t receive a “pink slip” and your package would be delivered within a few days. Had medical supplies emergency overnighted to me and they’ve been held hostage at the post office for 2 weeks now. And when I went in to try and get the issue sorted, the staff was unhelpful and quite frankly rude. They told me they couldn’t see if the package was there it is, according to Amazon tracking and that there was nothing they could do to help me without the tracking number. I produced the tracking number and they hand me a form to fill out saying someone will be in touch tomorrow and that’s all they can do. Wouldn’t tell me if the package was there once I gave them the tracking number, even tho they told me minutes prior if I had the tracking number they could see if the package was there. Over all unhelpful, mean staff, and insane operating. Get some organization. They should be ashamed of themselves.
How does someone remain an employee, when there are 1 star reviews about staff at this location, for up to 6 years? I had 2 different employees tell me totally different information about mailing a package that had a 1 oz bottle of perfume in it. The first person gave me an express label to fill out at the desk by the wall. When I was done, the 2nd person refused to allow me to send the package, because of the perfume. ALSO...while I was there a woman had arrived to get her passport photo taken. She arrived with one other member of her family, stating that they originally had an appt for 5 people, but chose to only have 2 photos taken that day. The older woman who works at this branch proceeded to tell the customer that since she was 15 minutes late for her appointment, they would not see her. The customer tried to talk some sense into them , but no matter what she said, they wouldn't listen. They only told her that she had to leave because she'd arrived 15 minutes late. Think about it....the appointment was for enough time to process 5 passports, but instead only 2 customers needed the appointment. So, there was obviously plenty of time to process those 2 people , instead of 5. The staff at this PO branch even threatened to call the police on her, because she was angry that she was being turned away. The customer had taken off work and had done her best to get there on time. But they refused to see her. She had no choice but to leave, but was visibly upset. How are these people still employed by the post office?
Nice mail station with friendly staff and reliable transport. It’s a nice old building that’s easy to find with a mail box outside it
They never answered the phone, you couldn't even leave a message. It's unfortunate that the postal service has gone down hill.
Had a letter I needed intercepted. Days later it had no scan. Fortunately, Seaford Post Office personnel were doing their job and stopped what they were doing to tell me to get on the phone with the Annex department immediately. Rehoboth apparently didn't scan to know to intercept and put me on hold for 10mins without acknowledging their error. Now a new letter I sent out, certified. It's for a legal matter. The last scan on 8/17 said it will try again the next business day... the 18th, 19th. Nothing. I called 7 times over the course of 2hrs on 8/19. Never picked up. I wouldn't be stressed if it wasn't for the fact Seaford and I had to fix their mistake and laziness the first time.
Rude broad who answers the phones think her name is Joanne and I still don't have my packages that was guaranteed next day delivery
Wow, yeah I read every single review before I wrote mine. 6 years ago Colin said it, 5 years ago Joana, same review, what a cold almost racist lady Della is. Could you look more displeased really? You’re not in Cibecue, AZ, it’s the beaches for God’s sake. Current president has a summer house here, what a nice example you’re setting for a government worker. You’re very lucky to have that job, retire and still collect money off social security.
