Just left this post office after being harassed and verbally abused by the postal service workers. The lady that works in the back is the nastiest and rudest person ever. I have a business and dropped off packages. They get annoyed because they don’t wanna deal with me. They told me to take my packages somewhere else. I spend a lot of money on shipping through usps, thousands each week. I asked for a cart, and the lady brought a little cart out instead of a bigger cart today on purpose to be rude. I said I can’t fit them in this cart. The lady started ripping the cart out of my hands and said o well we aren’t taking your stuff. I put the 20 packages back in my car cause I didn’t trust them with my stuff. Now my packages are going to be late. This lady needs to be fired. I can’t believe someone would treat someone this way at a post office. Especially that’s right down the street from where I live. I’m hoping usps contacts me back soon about this. It’s unacceptable.
After calling the Monroeville office for two day, I called our Plum post office to see if there was another phone number for me to try. The clerk that answered was extremely helpful, as always at Plum's office. I appreciated her help and hopefully will hear from Monroeville to have our issue resolved. Great job at Plum, always pleasant and helpful!
I have been going to Plum post office for over 5 years, always with Marcie working the desk, she is awesome. She knows all her customers and everyone I see there loves her. The people who are complaining all seem upset because of expectations that are beyond her control. She runs the whole place by herself and does a great job at it. I'd hate to deal with the people whining on here knowing how nice of a person Marcie is. She must deal with some sour entitled miserable people from Plum sometimes...I wouldn't wait for you while it's my lunch break or tape your packages either!!!
Marcie is an absolute nightmare of a customer service representative. I understand that your lunch starts at 1 and that the post Office closes at 1 however I arrived at 12:55. After standing in line for 5 minutes with absolutely no movement at all, I was then struck with the idea that I should go to my car to get my phone so that I can get some work done while I stood in line. Upon my return Marcie threw me out of line and told me that she was closed. I reminded her that I had been standing in line for 5 minutes and merely stepped out to get my phone, she didn't want to hear it. As I approached the counter to get her name so that I could let other customers no who to expect when they enter the store I asked her if she had some sort of operator number or badge ID she waived her hand in my face. After calling the 1-800 number listed on Google Maps for the Post Office of course it was a 7 minute wait to talk to any customer representative with no option for a call back. I feel as though I will not be satisfied in this manner and customers will continue to be treated poorly at this location. As a follow-up, I just left the Penn hills office where I bought 6 stamps that were 70 cents each, the transaction took literally 60seconds from the time I walked in the door till the time I dropped the letters in the box. Literally the worst postal service experience I ever had was with Marcie
I checked one star because there isn't anything lower ... I can't believe the USPS allows a blatant racist to work behind the counter in Plum Borough. She is ignorant, unprofessional and discourteous. I have never come across a person who works in customer service as horrible as this woman. She is a pathetic excuse for a postal worker. Do yourself a huge favor and inconvenience yourself and go out of your way to avoid this disgraceful human being. And her supervisors Marty & Carter condone her poor behavior.
Wow, what's up with all the Marcie-haters? I've never had anything but positive experiences with her. She is sweet, helpful, knowledgeable and always has cookies or candy for my daughter. She literally runs the entire post office by herself. Shame on the USPS for not getting this poor woman some help. If you had a bad experience, maybe you should put yourself in her shoes and think of how it would be to run an entire station ALL ALONE. Workers are entitled to their lunch break and she probably learned from experience that if she bends the rules just a wee little bit for one person, she loses all control. Anyway, I think she said she is retiring soon so we'll see.
I am a small business owner attached to 2 other businesses. I leave mail right by the door. If we don't have any mail to be delivered they don't even stop to check if we have any outgoing mail. I have asked the previous mail carriers to please check. They have all been very nice and said they would. I am now on my 6th or 7th carrier in 3 years and the last lady was very rude and said "We don't HAVE to stop if you don't have mail." I get it but it would take literally 5 seconds to look. What has happened to Customer Service.
So disappointed. It seems like every time I try to get a package delivered through USPS, I NEVER GET IT. I ordered stuff from Amazon. Amazon marked it delivered, but no package. I went through to contact the carrier and it said “available for pick up at the plum post office”. This is not the first time this has happened. I go to the post office and it’s closed! No sign or ANYTHING. The last few times I ordered stuff through amazon, their own couriers handed it to me. It baffles me that USPS will deliver my paper mail with no issue and turn around in the culdesac where I live, but not be able to deliver a package. They literally have to drive past my address in order to turn around.
One employee during Christmas shows how they run a business and lose money. The key master at the door for lunch is a real treat. Who closes and locks the door for an hour? USPS thumbs down again
I was in there today for the first time and talked to a old lady and she told me that she was there a little while ago and this young Male cashier was waiting on her and told her it would be at least 7bucks to mail a package, that would normally be a $1.50. She said forget that and went to the Penn hills post office and they charged her only $1.50. She told penn hills bout that and the guy laughed and acted like he knew about the thief at the plum post office. She said I think hes pocketing the extra money, I said, sounds like it
