Though the employees were polite when I was there why it’s 2 stars, I was overall extremely disappointed with my experience. This is the only location on the Delmarva peninsula that does digital fingerprint services according to USPS website. I called ahead of time and was told that they do indeed provide this service, and that I didn’t need an appointment and I can just come in. I drove for over an HOUR AND A HALF to the location. Only to find the staff were unfamiliar with the software and then were also unable to get it started. The manager of the location was also not able to get it to work. This is the kind of thing to figure out before someone comes to do this, when the person had called ahead of time. I also waited for over an hour and a half for them to figure this out. If any employees are reading this, I appreciate your attempts at helping me when I was there, but I hope you also appreciate my disappointment for complete failure to provide a service promised online and over the phone from what clearly appears to be a lack of appropriate training.
Oooh these ppl are rude lol. They must really hate their job. After the lady had an attitude I looked straight at her and said I hope you have a wonderful day. She gave me zero eye contact rolled her eyes and and didn’t say anything back. I wasn’t looking for her to say it back but thought it was funny how she was acting. These ppl has some serious issues.
I'm not sure why, but the two women at the front desk were really rude. They were very busy but there's no need for that to effect your attitude. I hope their day gets better.
Almost 3 stars but when the drive up mail box is overflowing, it obviously has not been emptied in DAYS when the sticker clearly says 5pm daily. We wonder why it takes 2 weeks for a birthday card to arrive. And why is there not a self service kiosk in this PO? Can't be completely blamed on covid.
When I first moved to Easton, the mailbox to my home was not yet set up. The workers at USPS on Dover St filed the wrong address on file, forcing us to come pick up our mail from the post office every day. They did not even know they had made a mistake, nor did they say anything about it at all. They gave us incorrect information on how to receive new keys for our mailbox and made no effort to help setting it up. On a separate occasion, an envelope which I had sent via Priority Express which costs almost $25 took more than four days to reach its destination. The attitudes of ALL BUT ONE workers is extremely uninviting and will leave you in a foul mood.
According to Amazon and USPS tracking, a very large order was delivered to my house at 1:36 on Saturday. Not there, neighbors didn't get packages. Saw carrier on Sunday who was delivering Amazon packages. She didn't have them but put me in touch with 'Bill' at the Easton Post Office. Called him at 10:21. He took tracking number and said he could pinpoint GPS from it. He is going to send a carrier out to find the packages. One way or another, he will call me back today. at 11:50 I Called Bill back. His carrier was in Easton on his way to Oxford. He had pinpointed the house where the packages were left. The carrier said he/she had left them at a 'side' door. I let him know I didn't have a side door. Again said he would call me back one way or another today. At 1:36 I called back again. No answer. This type of thing just makes my blood boil. $900 worth of equipment was supposed to arrive in two days. Now I have no idea when or if I will see it, and I guess 'Bill' has decided to leave instead of doing what he said he would do.
Arrived to po @515a on may 11. Call today and its at the plant? Even though tracking clearly shows other wise... not helpful workers. Package lost at this PO that was to be delivered no later than may 12. Its now the 17th and she has " no idea.. its so weird.. well we DO NOT have it. Okay? Bye" Called the plant and spoke with a gentleman whom verified that the package IS still at the post office. Most likely just sitting there. No delivery attempt or anything.
Rude, extremely unhelpful, mail is constantly a week or more late and they will hang up on you if you ask to speak with the supervisor. not being a Karen either, just had a legitimate question they couldn't help with.
This is far and away the best post office I have ever visited. Won't name names, but I've used post offices in some of our country's biggest cities and none of them can hold a candle to Easton's. Friendly, helpful, wonderful staff. Bless them all!
Best post office around! the employees are friendly and helpful. They even have a card store in this building so if you need to send a card, you can buy one there! someone has thought of taking "customer service" to the next level
