A Sunday USPS van drove up to our rural mailbox out on our busy gravel road today, and put a small box in our mail box, the other box was too big for our mailbox, so they just put it on the ground by the ditch! They couldn't just drive up to the house to leave it on the porch? Seems pretty lazy, uncaring, and inconsiderate. And against PO policy I would think? Good thing I was outside, and saw it happen before someone came along and picked it up!!
Great service! My mail is always in my mailbox every day. And I love going in for my business they are so helpful and friendly.
I had a package I’ve been looking forward to for a while and when it came into the hands of the post office they decided to send 1 pink slip saying how it was the final warning to grab it when I never had a warning before this. I was currently out of town and so I wasn’t able to pick up the package, I got back 2 days after the date written on pink slip, but at that time it was too late. They had sent back my packages and still were reluctant to tell me that part. I’m surprised anyone in town gets the mail at all with this post office running things
If I could give zero stars I would! They will not help you even answer questions! They are rude and do not care about your mail situation! Awful customer service! Kelly should not be allowed to answer the phones. I think her IQ is about 3 and her customer service is degrading!!!! Also won’t let me speak with the postmaster
Very rude and Half the time doesn't deliver packages when I contacted customer support even customer support was very rude update on the post office they refuse to deliver my mail because my cat is always looking out the door hissing at them. My cat has not been outside she is protective of her house and dont like people. I have many packages delivered to my neighbors house as well as not reciving packages. When i have filed a complaint about the issue they told me there is nothing they can do.
If you want people to say you are sending back Bills, call you a liar and then threaten to call the police, call this post office. They blame you for their carriers not picking up mail and tell you to take your mail elsewhere.
We live in an apartment complex with several mail lockers so it's reasonable to get someone else's mail once in a while but it happens frequently. Our friends just sent us a Christmas gift in the mail and the mail carrier put the gift in the wrong locker. We went to the post office twice to figure out when and where the package was left this has been the second time this has happened and nothing was resolved. I gave them my contact number and they have not called back going on a week now.
The absolute WORST customer service I've ever experienced, not to mention the most incompetent mailmen. In the past 6 months my packages have been marked as delivered, BUT DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS at least 4 times. And everytime I call the post office to get it fixed, I get the same cocky woman behind the phone. Someone needs to take her off the phone and put her somewhere else. I am currently waiting for my package to be found as it was delivered to the wrong address AGAIN. The last time this happened it took 3 days because at first they "couldn't locate it". I live on a rural route and maybe that doesn't play a part in this, but I really feel like that should make this whole thing EASIER. DO yourself a favor and have any important packages HELD FOR PICKUP AT THE POST OFFICE, and go get it yourself. EDIT: got this specific package a couple hours later after the review.. so I changed my rating to 3 stars as this is the better of experiences.
Horrible delivery service. Constantly having to send other peoples mail back. They lost a package that they said was delivered in a locker at our apartments. It was not there. We have talked with them several times. Still no package found after a couple weeks! Apparently someone is enjoying my kids Christmas gifts cause of misdelivering. Not the first time we have had packages lost in the mail either. Also just got a book in the mail today. They completely ruined it by folding a HARD cover book in half. They could have easily just put it in the locker box! Would not recommend USPS salina at all. UPS and FedEx from now on.
I'm not sure the source of the adverse issues, but they have increased. Most front desk help in Salina is very good. Helpful and courteous. We do get the mail of others on occasion and believe there are times when we do not receive the expected mail. Most concerned with mail having critical information getting delivered to another box. The largest adverse issue is the time to get mail delivered to its destination. Medicare and both credit card companies used an envelope note to mail 5 days in advance of due dates. 2 times for each I mailed 7 days in advance and all advised when called to ask why I was being charged penalties and interest stated that payment was received days past the deadline. Same with Medicare and so Medicare changed the way I have to pay due to late payment. A week - 7 days was not enough time for any to get to their destination! The USPS advised me 3 or 4 days would be enough. The costs to wrong and slower than stated delivery are more than just aggravation. I advised persons I could talk with at the CD companies and Medicare they needed to change their 5 day mail in advance note to 10 days to ensure on time delivery. The issues are not only Salina.
