Certified mails never delivered to home, always need to be picked up from post office. For some reason, no attempt is made to deliver the certified mails, every time one needs to go to office and collect them.
Terrible customer service by the new person who is at the desk - have been going here for the past 15 years and this is the first time dealing with someone who does not want to help or wants you to actually use the service - very unhelpful and spoke in a condescending way .
Lines are long & the employees are sometimes rude, but the service is usually adequate. However, I went today a little after 4 and they were closed. The hours posted online & on the locked door say they’re open till from 9am-5pm. I waited several minutes & knocked on the door periodically, to no avail. Very frustrating, since people work, the holidays are coming & small businesses are already dealing with supply chain issues. There was no sign explaining when/why they closed, or when they plan to reopen. There WAS a sign that said they’re only taking cash due to the internet outage… I don’t know If they’re referring to the nationwide Comcast outage that occurred on Tuesday, but if so, does this mean they haven’t been back to open the office since then? To state the obvious, this is another reason a sign would be helpful.
I tried to talk with Carmen, but was impossible to understand her. I'm sorry for her problems but in Post Office Customer service must work people without speaking problems.
Absolute disgrace. They "Delivered" 2 packages on the same day even though they never arrived. I went online to create a case with USPS for each package. They closed each case but never responded to me. That's the government for you!
The Wayne Post Office is my happy place. I am only in Wayne temporarily and have been to the post office many times to tend to things back home, but this place is great. Everyone is super friendly and attentive. I love going here more than anywhere else in Wayne. Coming from Brooklyn, I can say that this completely changed my feelings regarding entering a USPS office. I wish every post office were like this one. When I leave Wayne, I will miss the Post Office the most. Thanks for helping me send my packages and thanks for all the stamps. You guys are amazing.
I'm separating the Post Office from the actual USPS Carriers and will say I love this branch & it's employees. I've NEVER encountered a rude person so I guess you get what you give with the other bad reviews. The building itself is fabulous if you take the time to stop and look at it's architecture both inside front door area and out. When I've had delivery issues or missing packages, I've been able to call and always get the manager to help me find them. As for the Carriers, I'm afraid that much of what was reviewed prior to me is true. Seems there needs to be a re-training program of some sort to get things tidied up again.
It's impossible to do much of anything here. Delivery service is utter trash - whenever a package is sent to me USPS I know that there is a 100% chance I'll have to wait until Saturday to pick it up. The mailman doesn't even knock on the door to see if I'm home to sign for it; he just fills out the notice slip and leaves it. They don't even bother taking the package out in the off chance that I'm home. A delivery service stops being a delivery service when it doesn't even try to deliver. I'm constantly receiving my neighbor's mail, which makes me wonder how much of mine might be out there. The one and only pro is that the building looks nice from the outside and is in a convenient spot. Inside, it's a literal dungeon and is staffed by downright hostile employees. Seems to be a problem exclusive to Wayne, as every other post office I've been to from LA to New York was well lit and staffed by people who could at least fake professional pleasantries. Recently I had to go to King of Prussia for my passport thank God that Wayne doesn't have their passport service anymore, and it was a very nice experience. I'd rather catch hammers with my teeth than do even simple things at Wayne.
They consistently deliver mail at 6pm or later. Yesterday I was supposed to get a package and I was home when the mail came 7:30pm, but they still left a note claiming there was no safe place to leave my package. They didn't even knock. Sometimes they don't even deliver the mail at all. I'm constantly getting my neighbor's mail multiple times a week, even though our mailboxes are clearly marked. All in all, terrible service.
SO RUDE! The woman at the desk was sleeping while my mother was trying to speak to her about a missing computer. So, my mother tried to explain to another worker, a man, and when she tried to show him the tracking number on her phone, he yelled something like "don't point that phone at me! Write it down!" Then, another man came over and told my mom to stop "barking like a dog." They never attempted to deliver the package and they did not leave a slip, and we were home all weekend, so we know. Turns out the computer was stashed in a back closet even though the tracking number indicated it was scheduled to be sent back to the sender. Now, I'm curious if the defensive attitude of these workers was a response to a guilty conscious? Or discrimination against my mother because she has an accent? This is not the first time my family has had negative interactions at this post office. We are very disgusted with the way they treat people.
