Founded in 1993 by Lucas Da Silvia and Marcia De Paula, Universal Art Gallery originated on Ocean Side Walk in Venice, California. We retain our small, family-run business approach and our stellar reputation for delivering quality, timely services at highly competitive prices.

I can’t say enough about Fernando. He is so kind and has a wonderful eye for color and design. Prices are quite reasonable, they do excellent work, and with all of the employees in their workshop, they have a fast turnaround.

Safe place to ask question, get a fair estimates, and finally get an amazing frame... Happy I re-discover UAG, after a few years living a bit too far. With the years, the team continue at the highest level of professional service, and the choices... the choices are a bit too much, get ready to be overwhelmed by so much to choose from...

I met Lucas while working in radio. We would always get our framing done by Universal Art Gallery through him and I would be the one to pick the finished product. He has always been helpful and creative with coming up with ideas on how to best put together any piece you want framed. For my personal framing needs he has come through and astounded me with excellent work and turnaround. The first piece I got framed was my concert poster and ticket from Mumford and Sons secret LA show at The Roxy and more recently they put together my autographed vinyl record of Ice Cube's Death Certificate 25th Anniversary album. Both times I was absolutely amazed at the finished product. I would definitely recommend Universal Art Gallery for all your framing and even printing needs. I am a customer for life.

About as good as it gets. If you are looking for custom framing and quality, cost, and competency matter to you... Lucas and his folks are your solution.  After getting quotes from two other vendors, UAG was the third Frame shop I visited. Lucas quickly set me up with Nino and we got to work. Fifteen minutes later, the project was scaled out, priced, and scheduled.  UAG's quote came in at around half of the first quote I got from a different vendor and a couple hundred dollars less than the second quote I got from the second vendor I visited.  And the finished product is A+++++++++  When you spend thousands of dollars on a meaningful piece in this case, a winning Stanley Cup Final worn jersey of a significant player, you *need* confidence that the framing partner you select will care for your piece and get the job done as expected. Lucas, Nino and the folks at UAG are that trusted partner.  You should use UAG for your framing needs. I'm near-certain you won't regret it.

These people really know what they’re doing. From signed football jerseys to large scale art pieces, they exceeded my expectations every time. A+ service and value.

Absolutely amazing experience! Excellent communication from start to finish.  Very good price, excellent service and just beautiful work.  I almost cried I was so happy with the framing of the jersey.  Truly excellent people to work with and would recommend highly.

My lady love wants me to protect myself as a ride share driver.  That meant getting a plexiglass protective shield for my Nissan Versa.  My lady got me number for Lucas who promptly called me back.  Yesterday I drove to the art gallery in Venice.  Lucas recommended place up the street for breakfast.  I came back & the shield had been professionally installed.  The cost was a flat $150 plus tax.  I am very happy with their work.  Great art here too!

Nothing but quality. I’ve had multiple things framed here including a signed Gretzky jersey, signed laird Hamilton poster and multiple certificates. Fernando is THE man. I wouldn’t trust any other place with my wall art.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!! They are art experts and knew exactly what to do with every item I brought in. From preserving my wedding roses and transforming into a spectacular art piece to framing various paintings with exactly what they needed. They didn’t try to oversell and were able to revive something I put off for so long. To top it all off, they are all so incredibly kind. So lucky to have found them. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking for top quality work.
