Just WOW. I came for some basketball goals, Elam it’s ended up with gear for my whole softball team. Basketballs for my job and equipment for my son. The staff was awesome, Cody helped me the most. Took the time to give me a tour and talk about the company. With the traffic control changes over there, it’s a few more turns to get to, but definitely worth it. Check these guys out!

Do not order hats from this company!!!! Worst customer service. We ordered team hats and were told we would get them in 4 weeks and we could call and pay at anytime. We called to pay and we did not have an invoice number only a quote number. We called the Sales rep and he stated that we just called him to pay so we did. We confirmed with him that our hats shipped and he said they did. Well 4 weeks later we don’t have the hats still and our rep doesn’t have a tracking number to give us still. We know another team that had the same issue and warned us about Universals sales reps. They had ordered hats and 3 months later still no hats. We should have listened. They will make excuses don’t trust them. So if you are looking for a company to order hats stay away from this one!!

We ordered out jacket on June 11…. 12 1/2 weeks later I called to ask if the jacket was done. I was told yes it will be here Friday Sept 3 I went to pick it up Sept 9 it wasn’t there. I was told it would be in by 12:30. I was headed back around 3:30 to pick it up… good thing I called. They took a bunch of jackets to our school and dropped them off. I am so disappointed in Universal Athletics customer service. No one calls to let you know the status of anything. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I also let a message for a manager to call me back. Nothing. I’m extremely disappointed. And the back patch is in the wrong spot.

Good selection of gear. They could use more peewee baseball gear but we made it work with what we found. We obviously could've went elsewhere, but we needed it today. Still a great selection and comparable prices. We had to exchange something for another size and style and they were super chill and happy to make the exchange. I would recommend them.

Drew has been wonderful to work with on a project for our school’s baseball program. So patient and kind. Thank you, Drew! The store is amazing! There is a huge selection for any any and all sports. I am confident that if I had questions or concerns, the staff would resolve the issue quickly and to the best of their ability.

I went into Universal Athletic yesterday to get a newer pair of CrossFit shoes. I really had no clue which ones to get. Ian came out from the back to help me. I was really impressed with his knowledge and helpful advice. He took the time to explain the details, pros and cons of each shoe. I’ll definitely be returning! Great customer care and advice.

Ordered several items through my son's high school. Half way through the season, they finally have shipped my order. Only problem, instead of shipping to high school, like they said, they shipped to my old address in another state. I guess those football shirts will look great for Basketball.

After reading all the previous comments/complaints from other High School Athletic Teams, I’m not sure why the schools still continue to use Universal Athletic. We’re at the end of the of our season, last week was out last tournament and we just barely got our required Spirit Pack which is missing stuff. I know, I know the hoodie is Under Armor and as you stated in a previous post you have no control over them, good way to excuse your poor service. Blame it on someone else. If at the time you place your order AU or Nike tell you they’re out of stock, refund people’s money oh yeah, your fine print says no refunds - because you know it’s going to happen every single time Instead our hoodie will be shipped from AU today last tournament was last week, last dual is tomorrow they will then have to be embroidered with their name and shipped to the high school. So in other words we will not se then until the season is over. Worst customer service.

Our Hosa group bought jackets through Neill Janikula. One jacket had a misspelled name and we had a conference within a couple of days of receiving them. He drove to me, picked up the jacket, and had it back in time for the conference. Amazing customer service, trust this guy with your apparel needs for your organization.

I've been a longtime customer with Universal Athletics and have found their in stock items to be fine. However, when ordering specific items like shoulder pads or helmets you should go somewhere else. They were not willing or able to properly fit my son for shoulder pads last year I had to go to the U and get with the equipment manager to do this and this year struggled to get the correct helmet size and when it did come it didn't fit correctly. My biggest concern is the extremely poor customer service and a complete unwillingness to help resolve a problem while spending hundreds of dollars on an item i.e.- walking away and not coming back saying "I don't know what to tell you" or ordering shoulder pads without even fitting him. When I have reached out to the store manager, he hasn't even taken the time to return a call. As a result of their poor customer service I will never go there again. They have taken for granted the individual customer and really focus on "team sales." You should try Academy Sports for individual attention.
