I started as a company driver here in February. Overall it’s been a good experience. My trainer was good. I learned more from him in the first week than I did in 3 months at 160 Drivers academy Sucks The dispatchers are all very nice and helpful for the most part and the shop guys are awesome. My fellow drivers are mostly friendly and always willing to help out and management is fair and patient with new drivers for the most part. The equipment is fairly new and always robust in its operating. The only bad thing I can thing negative I can think of is they have a few jerks working there, but that’s any job place and pay which is considerably low for trucker standards. But that’s par for the course when you’re a new driver. The union negotiated a deal where overtime starts after 50 hours rather than 40 which I still don’t understand. Every other union shop in town OT starts after 40. Like I said though. The experience has been good overall
Extremely rude office staff. They are disrespectful towards drivers. Irresponsible as well. Asian lady forgot to tell her forklift driver to load me, I waited for two hours just to find out she forgot about me. Well at that point their lunch break started, had to wait 2 more hours to get loaded. It takes another hour and a half to print and give me paperwork. All of this for one pallet shipment. Never accept a load here for real!
I’ve applied lots of times the last 3 years Always get the run around and I have all the qualification! All I wanted was a job here so I didn’t have to do the OTR! I don’t know how everyone gets hired but not me!
Terrible experience!!! Extremely rude people for no reason!!!! It was my first time and definitely last time. By the way took them 11 hours to unload the half trailer. Got here at 9:45pm unloaded at 8:30am. Ladies at the gate super rude, Asian lady at the shipping/receiving office extremely rude. Forklift drivers were yelling and kicking my trailer door to let me know that they finished unloaded after 11 but when I checked in I gave them my phone number as they ask me to call me to let me know that they are finished unloading. Just so unorganized and unprofessional.
Extremely rude employees, very slow at loading and unloading. The whole place is a chaotic mess. The yard dogs drive like they are training for nascar. They have no regard for safety. Edited to add that the security ladies were nice.
Great employees, very organized and management actually listens to you and your concerns to make things better. Come to work every day on time do your job and you should have no problems.
I give a lot of negative stars this place is the biggest joke I've ever been to in all my years of driving there has only been two people that work here that have been respectful never again stay as far away as possible
Very long wait time. Shipping and receiving is a hot mess. Not due to the ladies that do their best upfront. Be weary of the switch operators. They drive around blind to the other drivers in the yard. The office all the way on the east side of yard.
I got the load 1 hour 50 minutes ago. And I am still waiting for PaperWorks. The office people are very disrespectful. Few minutes ago I went to office and ask about the paperwork they were too harsh and told me that wait for them to call me. First of all it should not be taking that much time for PaperWorks and I don’t know how much longer I am going to wait. How hard is to write up BOL. Second, those employees in the office should be trained for human relation, which how to speak to people. They should not look at the drivers as low level people.
Unprofessional slow and disrespectful to drivers if I could give them no stars I would
