Loved everything about Universal Studios, way better than Disney. We weren't burning in the sun they had shelters at the sections to wait on your rides and fan. Even though some wait time was long, it really didn't seem that long. The overall experience was amazing. It was really surreal. My family enjoyed every bit, i should have scrapped Disney and do 2 days here.
My first time and my son’s first time to universal. It was absolutely fabulous to spend a day with my teenage son and see the excitement the park brings. I paid for the express pass which was more expensive than our tickets as well as the garage parking for $50. It’s insane that anyone has to pay $50 to park for the day, but it was worth it. The express pass was also worth it to get on as many rides as possible as we didn’t arrive until noon. I would not recommend the Simpson’s area for lunch. They do need to control that better as that was awful. But everything else was fabulous.
My son and I had a blast! Be careful of the raptor ride, it will rearrange your insides. Most rides have air conditioning, glad I didn't get the fast pass the air helped. So much to see and do, absolute fun!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
Brought the kids here for some fun we purchased a two day pass. The line to get is was extremely long. Once we got in the line for guest services was the longest wait. Once into the park we hit the Island of Adventure Park first. It was a little crowded and difficult to navigate with my mobility scooter. There weren’t many rides that I could go on. I wish the parks sold a pass at a lower price for grandparents and adults who are there to wait for the kids to get off of the rides. Definitely bring sunblock and a hat even though they sell that stuff here. The food options were pretty expensive. Overall it was a great experience I’d definitely go again. A few of the 3D rides that I could go on they made you transfer to the absolute worst wheelchair. It felt like sitting on steel. My Pride GOGo Traveler with a 12ah battery pack just made it through the day and back to the parking garage. A 18ah or better battery pack would have given plenty of juice to make it through the day without stress of running out of battery.
Universal is just great. In my opinion the main park Universal Studios Florida is 10x better than Islands of Adventure. This is just so much better with tons of stuff to do and a great experience. Islands is also great but this just destroys it in so many ways. Long wait lines, of course, but buying the fast express pass can help alleviate that. Came 9 years ago and now it is pretty much the same with some new rides such as Skull Island. It is extremely expensive especially in peak Summer and gets super hot, but it's fun. I really wish both Studios and Islands would add more seating, under shade, yes, but so many people just want to sit down to eat for 10 minutes! But overall great. 5/5
I can't give Universal Studios florida a full five-star for a couple of reasons. First of all, I find it extremely annoying that after paying hundreds of pounds for tickets for me and my family, I am then forced to pay 30 dollars per day to park my car. In total, I feel as though Universal has robbed me of an extra 90 dollars for the 3 days I spent there. The second reason I can't give it five stars is that due to the crazy way, we had to cue up to enter the park on the first day. We were forced to stand in a crowded street with walls on both sides in the blazing sun for over 40 minutes while people were admitted to the park. It was crazy and amazing. Nobody passed out. Other than that, we had a nice couple of days at the park. Largely thanks to the cue jumper passed, we managed to acquire. The rides we went on were a fun bit not worth waiting over an hour for. We managed to meet loads of different characters, which was great. The whole Harry Potter section of the park is excellent.
It is an incredible experience for kids and adults alike. Not for the faint-hearted. Many people believe this park is better than Disney World for a reason. Highly recommended!!Visited onWeekdayWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
This park has a bunch of highly themed rides and attractions. There is so much to do here for people of all ages. I always leave myself enough time to get tons of re rides on Escape from Gringotts as well as Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket. Hands down one of the best theme parks on the plant.Visited onWeekendWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
Pretty cool experience. The rides were more thrilling than Disney in my opinion. But the park as a whole seemed smaller that I thought it would was. So much attention to detail in the Harry Potter areas. So awesome.Visited onWeekdayWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
We did a long weekend and stayed near Universal Studios. We were a 6 min walk to the entrance of the parks. As usual in Florida it was blazing hot and humid. That is one of the main benefits of the Universal approach, almost all of the rides have indoor lines, with very cool entertainment while you wait for the ride. The kids really enjoyed this park, Minions, Transformers, The Mummy, Simpsons, Harry Potter Escape from Gringgotts, and more! The Harry Potter area is unbelievable. Make sure you have a cup of Butter Beer - Frozen was the best! It was awesome you could fill a water bottle up at any of the concessions or fill stations. As you would expect the food was pricey, but it was good. I would definitely recommend this to others. We will be back!
