Absolutely need to go to this, a lot of fun and the tickets are about $250-$500 a piece depending on if you want to wait in line or not. This was a great experience and a ton of fun. I'd highly recommend buying the expensive tickets to skip the wait in the line, I went to every haunted house / event in snout 5 hours. The environment and people were a lot of fun to be around too. The staff were friendly and helpful, we ate dinner outside of the park prior to going in. They had some fun alcohol drinks too, taste a little too sugary but of that's my only knock n the whole event I can't ultimately complain! I'm definitely going next year too.
STAFF HERE MUCH MORE PLEASANT THAN DISNEYLAND. My family and I spent 2 days here and we really enjoyed ourselves. Went to Halloween horror nights on a Thursday night and it was awesome. The express pass for the rides is definitely worth it. If we go back to California it will be to revisit UNiversal Studios not Disneyland.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
As someone who loves entertainment and thrills, my recent visit to Universal Studios in Los Angeles was an absolute dream come true! The park itself is immaculately maintained and truly lives up to its reputation as the entertainment capital. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was graced with an array of stunning attractions and experiences. The rides were beyond thrilling, with heart-pounding moments that left me breathless. Transformers: The Ride 3D and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter were definite highlights for me, as they truly transported me into the worlds of my favorite characters. The attention to detail in design and the craftsmanship of the themed areas were truly mind-blowing. Whether exploring the streets of Springfield or walking through the iconic Jurassic Park gates, I felt like I was stepping into my favorite movies and TV shows. But it's not just about the rides and attractions - the park offers so much more. From incredible shows and performances to delicious dining options, there was never a dull moment during my visit. The staff members were friendly, helpful, and full of enthusiasm, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Universal Studios in Los Angeles to everyone, regardless of age or interests. It's a place where magic truly comes to life, leaving visitors with unforgettable memories. I cannot wait to return and experience more of the incredible world that Universal Studios has to offer!
It's been probably 30 years since I've been here and while a lot of really positive things have been added, the nostalgia of the original park is still there. I highly recommend arriving early and staying late. We went on a Wednesday and spent the whole day there and whole the park wasn't packed, it was still busy and wait times for rides grew as the day wore on. If "motion" rides aren't your thing, there as many rides to go on but you should still find a good amount to keep you entertained. All of the lands are well detailed and generally speaking, the staff were professional and helpful. Definitely stop and get a Butterbeer and push the bug red button outside of Homer Simpson control room at the nuclear power plant. So why 4 stars? I think it's expensive, especially for families. Fairly pricey to get in and the food and drinks are the normal amusement park prices. Despite being there in a Wednesday with kids in s hook it was still busy and Bowers and Harry Potter were 90 minute waits late morning and into the afternoon. Bowser's was 2 hours a chunk of the day. Having said all of that, take the leap and go check it out. Be sure to look in all the nooks and crannies and take time to walk in all of the shops. I also recommend getting a hug from Homer. Trust me, it will make your day.
Really fun place for kids and a really good first time travel for family. Nice staff and accommodating to needs. Lines can get pretty long however but there’s plenty of food and things to do , best to go in the afternoon with lower wait times . Halloween Horror Nights is very fun but wait times are extremely long . Amazing scenery
Universal Studios is definitely a more chill theme park compared to others. With the season pass, I can take my time and never feel rushed. It's great to be able to enjoy the rides and attractions without feeling like I have to cram everything in. Plus, being able to get home in just a few minutes is a huge bonus. I absolutely love it!
Went to Horror Nights 2023 and it was fire! The scare zones were my favorite! The lines started out long because I got the general admission tickets. If you are not a patient person, invest in the express pass. Their lines went quick! I was jealous! The terror tram was my favorite maze! It had 3 mazes in one! The rides also remained open if you wanted a break from standing in line. I loved it! Definitely will be back!! Wish I could have added videos to the review. The photos don’t due it justice!
Universal is always fun, smiling, great time! The Express tickets are well worth it maximum 10 minutes in line. The rides are amazing! Different types of food and drinks! Tons of steps! Yes, a lot of people - but it’s a Universal!Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
I really enjoyed this park. especially when you have express pass. We got on all rides really fast. Money well spent. I'll be back again for sure, this time to a hotel close by. We're from Raleigh NC and this was our first time in LA. It's better than the other park. You know what I mean. The one with the D. Lol.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$31+
This place is so hard to rate due to such horrible AND positive experiences: 1: the ticketing experience and dealing with customer service when it goes wrong which is 100% of the time based on my experience on three attempts to buy tickets. Also, dealing with multiple park staff. No one has any idea what is going on. You can ask five people the same question and each person will give you five different answers. This is a problem, especially since you bought a ticket and it’s a contract. 2. The park is generally fantastic. It is well kept and looks amazing from the time you walk in. They put a lot of effort into everything. HOWEVER they don’t maintain their F’ing rides. We had 4 rides break down while we were there. The last ride I had been on twice before secret life of pets and had no issue. Twice before I got in, and it was great. However this last tine, the attendant told me it wasn’t tight enough even though it was locked pushed the bar down and pinned my legs. Then the ride broke. We were stuck there for 20 minutes and no one can get out.
