I wanted to love this daycare so much. I spoke highly about it to everyone. I had my daughter in the middle of the pandemic and I had to pass her to strangers through the front doors of University Academy. The employees quickly became family to me. I trusted them, even after a number of questionable accidents. They have a few diamonds in the rough, but unfortunately the owner is completely ignorant when it comes to normal childhood milestones. My daughter was kicked out of the INFANT room for biting. Before the age of 1. My hope for this review is that she learns to value research over experience when dealing with other’s children. The situation was handled so poorly and I’m heartbroken, but if I can reach anyone, especially new moms, do not take your child here. They will gaslight you into feeling an INFANT biting is a reflection of parenting, when it’s just an unfortunate stage in most children’s lives.
Absolutely amazing daycare! They love my kids and showed them so much kindness and compassion. My children came home daily with crafts and fun activities they learned. My children ALWAYS were brought to me with a clean diaper, clean face and washed hands. My children loved this place and it’s the only place I trust to do right by my children. I have so many amazing things to say about this place!
Don’t. Just don’t let your children enter this daycare. They want them to be little robots and not children. The director is not there for your child I promise. Stay away if you care for your child at all
My daughter has been going here since she turned 2 months. We absolutely love it here! Veronica and all the ladies are simply amazing. They have little parties for the classes during the holidays and last year at Easter they had bunnies brought in for pictures. Wouldnt want my daughter going anywhere else!
My son started this past August. We were very happy to begin with. Veronica and Elizabeth are wonderful, honest, compassionate, understanding, helpful, and they truly love and care about each child. A FEW of the teachers are truly amazing and take pride in their jobs and they genuinely love their students. HOWEVER, since January many things have turned sour not at all with those three people, they're still great. I don't care to elaborate on who or what the situation is, but we will NOT be back.
Beware of the only daycare I’ve heard of that holds 3 YEAR OLDS to the highest standard. Fully potty trained by 3 or they’re OUT! What a joke. Pediatrician doesn’t even worry about children’s delay in potty training until at least age 4. UNREASONABLE EXPECTATIONS of CHILDREN.
My son has been going here since he was 9 months old, the director Veronica is amazing and knows every child and parent by name as well what's going on with them. The teachers are great and my son is better for going there!
Don’t send your kids here. Really bad experience for our family. The owner is not reasonable, and treats the kids with no kindness! Our son was kicked out with no warning for biting at the age of 1. They do a really bad job of watching and monitoring kids and they are lazy. They also will increase the price randomly without enough warning to leave.
Half of the employee’s look like they came right out of rehab
