University Center, located in Sioux Falls, is an off-campus center for five South Dakota public universities that are located throughout South Dakota. The University of South Dakota (USD) located in Vermillion; South Dakota State University (SDSU) located in Brookings; Dakota State University (DSU) located in Madison; Northern State University (NSU) located in Aberdeen and Black Hills State University (BHSU) located in Spearfish. Because of this unique collaboration the University Center is able to offer complete college degree programs and classes from the campuses right here in Sioux Falls.
To meet the developing human capital needs of the changing local economy, the South Dakota Public Universities and Research Center provides the greater Sioux Falls area convenient local access to quality academic programs, lifelong learning opportunities, and student services from the six universities in the South Dakota Regental System. The University Center organizes facilities and support for university research and appropriate public/private research and innovation partnerships.
