Today's visit went quite well. The clinic was not busy at at. I sign in, registered and was seen by a Doctor within 30 minutes. So far I've waited longer for my prescriptions and discharge papers to be given to me than anything else. Hopefully the Pharmacy is going to be as quick and proficient.
Horrible. OBGYN clinic almost never answers their phone. The MyChart is helpful. Yet I'm always waiting over 1 hr or more for my appointments. I don't like the fact of always having to explain myself to new doctors since their doctors never stay, since being a learning hospital. I wish I could change. But I'm too far in my pregnancy it's too late. Just horrible I show up early as much as I can. And am always waiting longer than an hour just to even get vitals done. Then wait even longer for a teaching doctor who , by the next time I come here, won't be here at all....
They never answer the phone at the obgyn clinic and when you get an operator they aren’t patient enough to hear your concern or assist you. She just put me on hold. I like the doctors and nurses but I wish they would have you with one specific doctor throughout your entire pregnancy to make this a more personal experience. MyChart is very helpful and is the only tool I like from this experience.
The Black guy and RN have ameliorated! I was in and out , and am not feeling any pain. Thank you for tolerating my reviews. Last Sunday25OCT20 around1800hrs, everything thing was going good, until I got the injections! The lobby was empty, the front desk was quick and not as rude as usual, the vitals sign tech was stiff at first, but warmed up, and the physician was aware and direct and very knowledgeable -she put me at ease. Then comes the RN/LVN with the IM injections. She put those shots into my hips, and I have not been able to ambulate since! BAD,BAD,BAD technique! She needs another training class, porbrecita.
I thought I had an ear infection, and Texas MedClinic believed I did as well. But it didn’t go away, so I went to the Robert B. Greene Urgent Care Clinic, and Dr. Aguilar looked closer. She found a foreign object in my ear and removed it. I felt immediate relief. The staff was friendly, quick, and efficient. I will not hesitate to go there again.
Doctor that was assigned to me was very thorough and she made me feel comfortable. Her "Nurse Aide" was just as concerned and nice. Im not sure if she is a Nurse or Physician Assistant... Lol. Overall, very pleased with them.
I HATE this place. They are hard to reach ... Expect at least a 30 minute wait just for phone calls. They change goal posts .. If u call 48 hours in advance like they say for med refills and they don't fill it on time, they tell u that u were supposed to call 3-5 days in advance .... And they use that time scale according to the last call u make. Laronda is the ONLY decent person in the clinic too ... IF you can reach her, things will get done, but good luck bc the operators will claim they can't get her on the phone which is a lie. I hate this place and curse the day I switched to them.
We saw Dr. Pathi at Express Med and we had the best experience you might have at a doctors office. She was caring and listened to what we had to say. She really helped us. Besides the waiting time wasn’t that bad at all.
I followed instructions precisely, I called twice to make sure I did prep exactly. This is the second time. They tried to blame me for their pre op prep. I think this is a substandard hospital and drs. I didn't eat for two days and took extra meds. I'm sure it happens all of the time with them as they don't seem surprised and have a spiel already ready to blame patient for their incompetence. They also missed my veins three times and infiltrated veins. I was nice the first time but now I'm starting to wonder and will not be bac ever to this hospital. . I can read medical instructions as I'm a registered nurse with bachelor's degree.
This is a teaching hospital. They don't have a clinic here. Just consultants to other doctors. If you have Carelink, then yes you have no ither choice. If you have private insurance, seek private doctors.
