The building inside and out is very inviting and beautiful. It has a small gazebo for an intimate wedding or a ballroom for doing it inside. Plenty of FREE parking.
This gorgeous historic event venue is tucked away in the heart of Winter Park, FL and offers amazing locations, both indoors and outdoors, for your wedding or event. Some venue highlights include beautiful arches that create a wonderful veranda, an outdoor ceremony space and gazebo under mature oak trees, and a garden patio area with a fountain. Holly Milton and her staff are very caring and accommodating and will work with you to create the event of your dreams!
I love their live classical music presentations. Great libtary to check out books and a wonderful variety of learning groups and presentations.

Lovely venue, gift parking, nice location
What can we say about The University Club and it's staff than can describe the overwhelming feeling of happiness that our special day brought us? The staff was excellent but we cannot leave out a special mention of one person in particular; Holly Milton. Holly was the representative that we worked with in coordinating our wedding day 03/31/18. She is and was wonderful in assisting us in planning our wedding. She worked so hard to accommodate us with last minute preparations and every other step in between. The location of the venue is surprisingly beautiful. While the venue is somewhat small inside, it is absolutely perfect for intimite gatherings and was absolutely perfect for our wedding. The venue has a full size kitchen which accommodated our caterer perfectly. The location also has separate rooms which was also perfect for dressing or "hiding" the wedding parties until the ceremony. Once the hall was decorated, we were blown away at how gorgeous the venue looked. Oh and the gazebo! The gazebo is located under a beautiful tree with flowing moss that made our ceremony that much more gorgeous! What a setting! We are so very happy that we came across this location when we did. Holly, thank you so very much for everything you did for us. You and The University Club will always be an important part of our memories when we reminisce about our wedding!
This is a really nice venue. I catch free monthly lectures from the Central Florida Freethought Community here. It's comfortable and clean, and would be an excellent venue for all kinds of different events. There is a large main room and some smaller rooms. Spacious bathrooms and a large kitchen make it a flexible space.
Lovely simple venue, easy access, pretty interior
This is the second time I have gone there with guest speakers sponsored by the Central Florida Free Thinkers. Both events were worth the drive. It is a very supportive and diverse group for both believes and non believers. Though the majority are non believers. They work well with many other groups by focusing on Human Rights issues, Planned Parenthood, LGBT community, etc.
