The University of Great Falls (UGF) is a private institution of higher learning located in Great Falls, Montana.
UGF is a Roman-Catholic liberal arts private institution of higher learning, founded during the Great Depression by the Sisters of Providence. The institution stresses their students to carry out 'uncommon courage', in parallel with the establishment of the university. Moreover, UGF prepares their students for living and making a living. UGF is composed of three schools: the school of Education-Art-Social Science, the school of Professional Studies, and the school of Science and Humanities.
As an expression of the teaching mission of Jesus Christ, the mission of the University of Great Falls is to provide students with the opportunity to obtain a liberal education for living and for making a living.
