Hi I’m Chasity Her. I can’t find the words to express how FANTASTIC the customer service was walking in and right before my surgery I had AMAZING INDIVIDUALS that took so good care of me all the way before my eyelid surgery. I had never went through any surgery before. Theses individuals assisted me with everything I needed and need to know. Thank You, I could’ve done it without you all! Nurse Alley, Nurse Melissa, Nurse Alyssa, and Nurse Julema
Very misleading. KU hospital website states that you only owe $50 before services and the rest can be paid on a payment plan. Just got a call today stating I owe my entire deductible upfront because Indian Creek isn't "technically KUMC! Where do they get off thinking people have $4k to pay upfront before surgery???
People were very nice and friendly there. Just brought someone there to get procedure done. I wasn't a patient myself.
My orthopedic surgeon was highly skilled, very knowledgeable and personable. I had good results from my surgery. I came here because other doctors in area were unable to diagnose my problem.
I was referred to a surgeon back in 2017 for a major surgery. My luck, everything that could possibly go wrong and never does, did with me. I was, and still an, being tortured by this man. At first, I had so much respect for him but the minute he realized that I was going to be a problem patient, he started avoiding calls, the only response I get to anything I say is "that's normal." He promised to not allow me to stay in pain too long. It's been more than 3 years, which is when he said he would be ready to redo everything. Now we are approaching year 4 and it has been hell. So much so, I have lost every ounce of respect, I have fired him, and I have found a new one. Narcissistic surgeons with god complexes are not good. Beware.

I love going to this hospital! It's a really nice hospital! Checking in and getting called back for your appointment is always fast. Every one is really nice and helpful. The lab is great and quick! There are no emergency services here though!
I was very pleased with the staff, Doctor's and nurses at KU. They were all pleasant and very accommodating. The hospital was extremely clean.
I was here for a surgical procedure and have nothing but good things to say about everyone I encountered. The receptionist who checked me in was great. The nurse who was with me from prep to recovery made sure I was comfortable, relaxed and made me feel at ease. My doctor was amazing, as always. My pain was well controlled. I woke up with an awful headache and they made sure it was gone before I was discharged. Since I was still groggy, they explained some basic discharge things to me and then explained my discharge paperwork to my husband, which I thought was really nice.
All I can say is what a DISAPPOINTMENT! First let me say this, beautiful location and a nice clean lobby area in the hospital. I didn’t feel like I will be mugged outside as if I was in Kansas City Kansas, where the main hospital is located. Once in the hospital you were met by a greeter. This person took your temperature and ask for your reason why you’re visiting today. Informed this person I am here for some bloodwork. I was then instructed to find a seat and I will be called. I was eventually called up to the outpatient admittance area I guess that’s what it’s called I’m not sure to be logged in and giving a bracelet to wear. After after receiving the identifying bracelet I was informed to find a seat and my name will be called. After about a 15 minute wait I thought I heard my name and went over to the area that my name was called. Another gentleman stood up and was taken through double doors to what I believe to be the lab. OK I thought to myself, my name was not called therefore I sat back down. After another 5 to 7 minutes I thought I heard my name being called again so I got up from my seat and walk towards the woman that called my name. Before I can identify myself she left through the double doors and the double doors shut and cannot be open without a employees badge. Needless to say I was not very happy and I told myself I would give it five more minutes before I cut off my bracelet that I was given and go home. After the five minutes I stood up made my way to the door then I heard my name being called for the third time. I made my way to the woman who called my name. I asked her who is she looking for specially since I thought I heard my name being called two other times and it didn’t seem like it was me. She cannot tell me my last name. Therefore I just said I’m here for labs and then she took me back to the laboratory and took my blood. Needless to say I believe their communication system that is in place right now at the Indian Creek location is so woefully inadequate. Any more bloodwork that needs to be done I will go back to Quest diagnostic where I can make an appointment and be sure that I don’t have to wait for approximately 45 minutes to have my blood drawn. Needless to say my experience for blood work at the KU medical Center, at the Indian Creek location was woefully in adequate and poor!
