The Dairy Science Program at the University of Kentucky is dedicated to extension, teaching, and research.
We are a part of the Animal and Food Sciences Department dedicated to the promotion and research of dairy production systems. We aim to educate dairy producers and industry personnel, teach students who are able to enter the industry as knowledgeable professionals, and conduct research for the advancement of the industry.
Our goal is to develop and conduct quality educational programs that will improve the lives of Kentucky dairy farm families and of those involved in the allied industries.
