Earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing close to home! We offer the only regionally accredited, traditional BSN program in the Owensboro area.
To promote the continuing education of the Registered Nurse workforce, and to meet the ever-growing needs of employers, University of Louisville offers a traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in Owensboro, Kentucky. Students attend lectures and training in the classroom and perform clinical hours in the Greater Owensboro area in a multitude of settings.
Students may complete the first two years of the degree at another regionally accredited college, then transfer to the UofL Owensboro School of Nursing to complete all nursing and clinical courses. A BSN will prepare a student to take the NCLEX-RN to obtain the license required to work as a registered nurse, while laying the foundation for graduate and/or doctoral work.
