The Legal Society is the University's oldest professional organization dedicated to Legal Studies and Pre-Law Students alike. The club boasts members from all different majors however, all gather together by their dedication to furthering their education of the United States Justice System.
The Legal Society is a professional group, though meetings are informal and involve active participation by all members of the club. The club's largest event is Law Day, which is a celebration of the law. The theme of each year’s Law Day is set by the BAR Association.
A new addition the Legal Society’s traditions is the “Do You Know Your Rights? Panel,” which is held each semester for the purpose of educating the student body on different rights they have in different capacities. The theme of each Do You Know Your Rights? Panel is chosen by the club through popular vote.
The Legal Society has always been a smaller club, with an extremely active group of individuals. If you’d like to be a part of a close group of people from all walks of life, please contact the legal society. Membership is open all year round.
