David Henon, the owner of University of Pets is certified in Canine Studies (Cynology) from Compass Education and Training-The College of Animal Studies. He has worked at PetSmart as an Accredited Pet Trainer, is a Member of the Institute for Animal Care and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. He has trained many therapy dogs and volunteers at various rescue organizations and shelters. David has served on The Board of Directors at A.W.S.O.M, Animal Welfare Society of Monroe and is currently on the Fundraising Committee. David was a Humane Commissioner in the City of New Haven, CT and was Vice President of the volunteer group. David is currently furthering his education with CATCH, Canine Trainers Academy.
