Pros: The university of Phoenix has great instructors, online library, and other helpful resources. You also attend class once a week at night 5. Weeks. Cons: The only problem is that if your a veteran using your GI BILL at this school don't expect to get paid on the 1st, ever! The way it works is that colleges/universities sends your enrollments verification your attendance to the VA then VA processes them which usually takes 2 weeks-sometimes longer. The University of Phoenix sends the enrollments to the VA late 3rd to 4th week rarely on the 2nd week so you'll be receiving your BAH late which is on the 3 or 4 week of the month following month. For example you have a class starts which starts July 12th and it runs for 5 weeks When August comes you will not receive your GI bill stipend payment on the 1st but on the 20th or sometimes even later. This all depends on whenever the School decides to submit the enrollment to the VA. The VA already takes a long time as it is to process so the school sending them late doesn't help. I've attended another school in San Diego and they sent the enrollment verifications before the courses started on or as soon as they started and we always got paid on the 1st, without fail. Unfortunately, the school doesnt care about this issue either. Scroll down these reviews and read them it's TRUE about the stipend. The whole point of the BAH basic housing allowance is for veterans to pay the rent. The rent whether you rent or paying mortgage mostly is due on the 1st of the month. If your a veteran and would like to attend this school keep these things I said in mind.
Great campus with an excellent learning center. Ample classrooms and equipment. Good place to study, do some offline reading, or hold specific meetings. Also, there are the staff who are good natured, professional, and very knowledgeable.
Like with any University, it has it's pros and cons; but with the facilities and technology they have available as a student graduated it teaches that now all workplaces will have the amenities, and technology to work with. With that said it is up to the student on how bad they want their degree and what they would do to achieve it.
Refused to help me print 1 piece of paper resume Security said "you cant come in if your not a student" As DOD worker I was actually intrested in this school. To bad I wasnt able to speak with anyone..?
Great teachers! Fast paced schol for my fast paced life!
They're just after numbers. They don't care what classes they give you or in what order they are. Unsat.
Very good school
