The Black Student Union (BSU) is an organization which focuses on exploring and examining the identity, history, issues and culture of the African diaspora. It also works to create a sense of communiity among students of color on the USF campus.
The core mission is to examine and collaborate through constructive interaction to increase historical and cultural awareness of the African Diaspora. Recognizing that pluralism and diversity add value to the university experience and society as a whole, the BSU seeks to educate and involve the university community in the African American experience.
