The Master of Public Health program in the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California offers a unique learning experience to study public health with distinguished faculty in one of the nation’s top private research universities. The small faculty-to-student ratio at USC allows students get to know faculty, who act as mentors in helping students reach their career goals. The school’s diverse curriculum, combined with customized practicum opportunities, make the Master of Public Health program at USC outstanding. The program's unique location in the heart of Los Angeles, its resources, and its opportunities for students to participate in research, community service, and student-led activities, create a rich educational environment for training in public health. Students are linked to a vast network of individuals throughout the community, providing opportunities to gain real-world experience while making a lasting impact on public health.
The MPH program curriculum allows students to define their specialty and tailor their course of study by pursuing one of six tracks: health education and promotion, biostatistics-epidemiology, health communication, child and family health, global health leadership and public health policy.
Our program faculty and staff are committed to the development of the next generation of public health leaders for Southern California and the nation. We meet this challenge by providing personalized expertise in our instruction and mentorship.
