Welcome to the official Facebook Page of the University of St. Thomas Center for Business Ethics. Comments and questions are welcome.
The Center for Business Ethics strives to help business people and students
make good choices that benefit themselves, their businesses and their
community. We offer ethical leadership education programs and symposia,
public lectures and conferences on business ethics. The Center co-hosts the
Ethical Leadership in Action Award and participates with the Greater Houston
Business Ethics Roundtable whose annual scholarship award recognizes student
contributions to the field of business ethics and leadership. We seek collaborative
projects with the University of St. Thomas community and the Houston community at-large in our commitment to promoting ethics in all things.
We offer an Ethics concentration that includes nine (9) credit hours:
MBA 5351 International Management; ACCT 5399 Professional Ethics and
Social Responsibility; MBA 5393 Independent Study. The course descriptions
are detailed in the Handbook.
The goal of the Center for Business Ethics is to bring integrity and authenticity
to the business enterprise. Our students’ contribution includes: working with
community clients to honor the University’s mission to educate leaders of faith
and character, the Center’s mission to manifest ethics in all things, and the
belief that business serves society.
