Went to a training here over two days. It’s a nice facility. It was unfortunate on the second floor after multiple request from our trainers that they couldn’t put soap in the women’s bathroom. And that we also we’re training at a time where the University was not in session, and so the cafeteria choices were limited to pre-prepared, salad, and sandwich. However, the staff in the cafeteria recommended to go across the street to the Grill over the law school to get a burger. I just wanted something hot. All in all not a bad place to get a training setting an atmosphere is really great and it’s got some great seating area for when you’re not in meetings.
Great place for events, lectures, small conferenced, all hands meetings, etc. Top notch staff are courteous and knowledgeable
The lectures by numerous guest speakers on a variety of topics for lifelong learners for senior citizens through UT OLLI is FUN, ENGLIGHTENING & STIMULATING!
They have a cafe on the first floor! Hot food, soup, sandwich bar and salad bar! Breakfast and lunch.
Really nice building. Easy to get to and good parking.
I attended a class that was good. The facilities are good. I have attended classes here in the past and parking has been a challenge. Everything close by is reserved. However I reviewed the website and read where there was free parking in lot 40. A lifesaver. A good tip if you visit the center take advantage of lot 40 free parking.
Love my OLLI classes and being back on campus
I was there for a yoga conference in the Fall and although the auditorium was nice good lighting & sound, good size & comfortable seating the hospitality dept. could use some help. There was not enough food to feed our group, the chicken was really bad - rubbery, and the alternate choices weren't much better. It was noticeably disappointing.
Nice place. A little older building where they have done some things to modernize it--huge surge protectors through the room where people can plug in. There is a a nice little place to have lunch on the lower level where you sit outside Under the Oaks.
Facility is nice but an employee stole something from our meeting room during lunch and the building manager did nothing. There was literally no one else that had access to the room. Just a shame that this is the type of character that is promoted for employees here.
