The Morristown UT Hospice nurses were relatively good with my husband while he was in their care. However, they are not affiliated with UT and are owned by LCH Group corporation. Since my husband was not "admitted" to hospice until he was physically in his bed at home, hospice left me with a significant transportation bill. He was only able to be transported via ambulance and I asked that they admit him while in the hospital but was told it would be best to wait until he got home. Needless to say, this recommendation was so they wouldn't have to cover the transport. This is poor practice and if I am faced with needing hospice care again in the future, I will look elsewhere.
Dr. Assadnia, M.D. and his team are incredibly awesome and are located on the back side of the building. Unfortunately, the women that work in the FRONT of the building Hospice took turns looking at me only to return to their personal calls quickly thereafter. I Only stood around for 10 minutes so perhaps that wasn't enough time to HANG UP THEIR CELL PHONES.
I used this Hospice for a dear family member. I FOUND UT TO BE SO KIND, SO CARING, AND SO HELPFUL!!! THEY TOOK WONDERFUL CARE OF MY AUNT RUBY!! They even cared about and provided care for me. Their nurses Charles was an angel, cna's, Stacy and Dee love u, and Pam the sw, plus the dear Chaplin became like family. Did you know they send a doctor to your home? I I had used another local agency previously, with VERY DISAPPOINTING CARE THANK YOU UT. I loved this company so much- I went to work for them!! Best company Ive ever worked for. THEY CARE!!! This is a great resource for families with an ill loved one. They are great with patients and families; caring, compassionate, empathetic, genuinely concerned and personally invested in the very best outcome for patients and their families. THANK YOU PAM!! They helped me with my dad's cancer and were always available every step of the way.
Very nice place with friendly professionals. Well maintained and comfortable atmosphere while you’re waiting.
