My brother was admitted recently and was in the hospital for a week. He was treated with compassion and care. His team of doctors were brilliant discovering his illness and starting treatment quickly! My deepest appreciation to everyone from the ER to the hospital staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
UW is awesome! There was a valet person who took me to parking on a golf cart, patient transport who wheeled me to the room. This hospital is 7 out of 5 stars compared to Northwestern in Chicago.
Their staff all around where helpful and caring, I go to other clinics in the hospital, they as well are helpful. They always make me feel better. Teresa Kelley
Everyone is so so nice, informative & accommodating. From the front door, to your doctors office, nurses, cafeteria staff and back to your car. Tip for parking. Valet is free but I always tip, coming in and leaving. If garage parking is more your style make your way to the top or close to it, don’t let it stress you, elevators and handicap parking is at every level.
I can’t BEGIN to say enough about this hospital and they’re beyond exemplary care and HIGH medical aptitude. His surgeon, nurses, EVERYONE has been amazing. I’m so so so thankful for them and that my dad is on the road to recovery and will be home soon.
The UW Health Movement Disorder Clinic is fantastic. In-person or via video appointment my doctor is always honest and direct and I appreciate that, even if it takes awhile to process I always know where I stand with my care. Any person I have spoken with in scheduling has always polite and helpful. The only down side to in-person visits is trying to leave the parking garage and turning right. But that really depends on the time of day. The team who works the drop off zone is kind and more efficient then a school drop off zone at 7:30am at an elementary school.
I have been inpatient and outpatient, and I have always been treated with great care from all staff. Nurse, Dr's, residents, interns, etc. Everyone I've been seen by has been great! Dr Baskaya literally held my life in his hands, and is the reason I am here today. But like I said, ALL staff are commendable!
Had a MRI today, 7/12/23. I am definitely not a fan of getting a MRI. They make me very claustrophobic! Paula performed the procedure today and made the process very comfortable. She kept me updated throughout and made the whole process very comfortable. Thank you Paula at U.W. oncology radiation! People need to remove as much stress as possible when dealing with cancer!!!
I got a referral from my lung Dr that I see annually! I started my journey with UW Madison Wisconsin and I am absolutely pleased with the results I obtained there ! The level of care that I received from the Dr's and Nursing Staff there was Outstanding! And I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone especially if you have lung issues like me ! I had the Zephyr valves put in my right lung! I suffered from Severe COPD and this has been a huge success for me ! So I have to give a HUGE shout out to Dr.Amy Jaeger and Dr.Scott Ferguson for giving me my life back and this includes the Nursing Staff there also! Thank you for the outstanding care that you gave me during my stay with you!
Aim to arrive an hour ahead of your appointment, you WILL get lost. On the campus, in the parking garage, in the hospital itself, or within the bureaucracy of our broken medical system. Care was good, the only thing I would say to the care team is realize that a lot of people are not familiar with how things work and to start with the assumption that your patient has no knowledge of either the medical side of things or the administrative side.
