The Communication Studies Department equips students to become effective communicators who understand their chosen media of communication and use it well.
Together the Communication Studies Department equips students through courses such as; interpersonal communication, listening, nonverbal communication, persuasion, and research based seminars to impact their personal and professional paths in an effective and critical manner. Students will become effective communicators who understand their chosen media of communication and use them well. To help them in this goal, students will develop a sound foundation of skills and practices such as; the ability to to interpret and evaluate the messages to which they are exposed, appreciation for the interrelationship of theory, research, and practice and the understanding and application of ethical systems in communication.
Here, students will be able to connect with students and alumni further their professional careers.
