I am at the mri and surgery front desk waiting for a cortisol shot in my back. The time is 10:35 on Thursday the 16th. A male and female employee are behind the desk discussing how much money they make, and how much they think others make. Excessively extremely inappropriate. Besides that everything is great!
the personalized care they gave me and the time that was given was incredible. The staff were all very nice, smiled and helpful at all times and at every level. I drove 10 hours round trip to see Dr. Greis and they made it possible for me to get all my needs taken care of within the same day--x-rays, MRI, and follow up consult. So impressed and so grateful.
I arrived at least two hours early because I did not know how long it would take me to drive from Elko NV to U of U. I over planned. I checked in at the welcome desk and the very kind lady said she would see if I would be able to have an earlier appointment. I was provided with an earlier appointment. Everyone was so nice to me and very helpful. I was impressed with how thorough everyone was as they took information from me.
Everyone I encountered was helpful and friendly. The service was speedy, but I didn't feel rushed at all. The doctor and his MA were extremely knowledgeable. They both took the time to explain things and answer all of my questions. Overall a very good experience.
In the past, the steroid injection into my hand was guided with the use of ultrasound. At this appointment, I was told, "We don't do ultrasound guidance anymore, do you still want the shot?" If I had been given any notice, I may have changed, but since I was there and wanted the relief I took the shot. The person administering the shot had to "guess" where the correct placement was and ended up moving the needle around pushing into "resistance" until the correct place was located. This resulted in tissue damage, pain, and perhaps less effective treatment in the long term. I've very disappointed with this service. Two mistakes: 1 Not telling me the change until I was there 2 Not offering the ultrasound-guided steroid injection service. I need you to tell me whether it is true that this provider has stopped providing ultrasound-guided injections. If so, I will go to a different provider.
Dr. McCormick and the entire staff that work with him, Zoe, Dallin, and Scott the fellow, were incredible. They helped me feel safe, heard, and above all cared for. They asked questions, and following Dr. McCormick’s lead, they helped educate me on the diagnosis and a plan for care. I’m grateful for all of their support and help.
Jasmine Furnish is an amazing provider. I have worked with her for a couple of years now and she always takes the time that is needed to clearly explain everything to me. She knows what she is doing and I absolutely trust her to help me solve my various orthopedic issues. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking great orthopedic care.
Very unprofessional! My mom had an appointment 6/27 to follow up post hip break. I called to verify time and they tell me he's not working the 27th. We reschedule for 6/28. My mom is due for her cortisone injections in her knees also so I asked if they can do these here, they tell me yes so I take work off that morning instead. We arrive to be told, Dr. Higgins isn't in clinic today either and we can't address any of your concerns. We don't do cortisone injections. I received confirmation texts both days. Never once received a phone call! We live in a rural area; we had to drive 1hr 20 mins both ways for nothing. We have used Granger medical orthopedic before this experience. And will exclusively use them in the future. The service and experience with Granger is 10x better than here.
Dr Brodke and his team insured a very successful operation for removal of a large spinal cyst that was impinging my sacral nerve and causing me severe radiating pain throughout my left leg for three months prior to my initial appointment. Dr. Brodke provided a thorough diagnostic intake assessment throughout which he conferred with me positively, informatively, and respectfully. When we both concurred that surgery was the best option, he insured I was scheduled quickly for the following week. During this time, he, his scheduler, nurse, and PA were helpful, informative and supportive in preparing me for surgery, especially in understanding my needs as a single patient from out of town. My surgery was performed on time and I began my recovery with the immense relief of discovering I could put weight on my left leg with no pain. Because I lived out of town, my hospital stay overnight that they recommended further helped me recover for the drive home the next day. My six week recovery was supported by advice and feedback from Dr. Brodke's attentive nurse by phone. I am immensely grateful that I had Dr. Brodke as my surgeon as we had discussed the risks of possible complications from surgically removing the cyst and these risks ultimately did not materialize because my outcome was so successful thanks to his care, experience, and expertise. I just had my six week followup assessment and am grateful for Dr. Brodke's and hus PA's attention to monitoring my long term recovery. I believe I had exceptional surgical care from Dr. Brodke and his team and would highly recommend him as a spinal surgeon without reservations.
I met with Julie Zamora. I have been recovering from a traumatic car accident for the last two years, and she as well as Dr Marchand has given me exceptional care. I feel like after meeting with her that I will be able to recover fully if I follow the programs she has given me to work on. Her knowledge is so much larger than other physical therapists I have met with. I am truly grateful that I have been able to be under her care and would refer any trauma patient to her.
