My kids played t ball at this field! They loved it, mainly because it created a lot of dust The park is well kept and had plenty of other things to do.
An lovely little spot of a neighborhood green area for children and dogs and mutants and birds and snails and squirrels to frolic in. This park is not far from where I live. One block square. A delight in it's entirety. Quiet and motivated. Been here several times. I shall return many times. In the future. Not the past.
Nice little park! Restrooms were open which was nice but there was a bit of trash left behind on the lawn from other people. Have been going here for the past 10 years whenever I visit my grandfather and it's always fun to swing on while talking.
Great neighborhood park. Bocci games. Families. Basketball. Good vibes all around. And dog waste bags are provided so it is rare you encounter a doggie landmine. Often full on warm days with lots of kids in the park. Can be a little chaoitic on those days so dogs are difficult unless they are small and mellow. I don't take my Labrador there on sunny days. Other days I love to take my dog there to work out. She loves it!
Overall great park, there's a "Little Library" book exchange that I've used a couple of times. It's nearby to some other interesting areas like the Masonic Cemetery. If you're planning an event at this park that's more tham an hour or two, I'd suggest taking a walk around the neighborhood and to the cemetery as well. The park itself has a relatively dynamic layout. There's some an amphitheater style seating area at the North end. A baseball diamond with good quality dirt. Public bathrooms which I wasn't able to accessright now but I assume are decent. A functional drinking fountain. A nice covered area. Other various sportball areas. And it's got enough room to host several groups of people without being crowded, but not so big that you'd consider it a walk/hike to get around the entire place. The only thing that prevents a 5 star isn't anything really to do with the park proper, but just that depending on the time of year/day parking in that area could become difficult due to its proximity to campus. Though the on-stewet parking that is available is on roads that are plenty wide so I'm not fussed about parking on them.
Great place for grandkids T-ball game
It's a good park for ages 3-6 as far as the playground goes but the rest is pretty cool. Stage like area, party/picnic table area, basketball court. My 5 year old enjoyed it.
Great place to hang out with friends
Sweet park with all kinds of activities in a great location. There is Petanque on Wed eve and Sun am. Beautifully located in a residential neighborhood, surrounded by trees and private streets
nice peaceful park. easy to meet new people.
