I was surprised to see any bad reviews of this place. My husband and I have stayed here 4 or 5 times in the past year, it is the only place we ever consider staying each time we come to town. The beds have always been large king sized, fluffy, clean and comfy. The rooms are always perfect, each and every employee has always been super friendly and helpful. Our last visit I did notice additional security personnel, which is always good but although there is a lot of homeless and drug activity nearby, that has never effected our stay at all. The one and only negative is the ridiculous deposit for "incidentals" they make you put down... seeing as they do not have any room services, I don't get it, although on the other hand that deposit probably does tend to keep the riff raff out. As I said, it was surprising to see any bad reviews at all, I know we will be back and I recommend this place to anyone. Iv we never been disappointed
Service is pretty bad. We came twice to this hotel and each time the service is bad. A bunch of rules on everything. Can’t do this or that. Would be great to feel like customers are wanted in this hotel. Rooms are decent.Rooms: 3/5
I was born and raised in Stockton so when I came back to visit I was a little hesitant to stay at a hotel downtown. Much to my surprise the hotel was very nice! Very clean and modern and the view from the Court yard almost made me forget I was in Stockton. At one point there was an angry guest but the staff handled the situation very professionally. Teresa in house keeping went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were happy with our room. My only complaint is the night security, he was walking around with a pick in his hair, pants sagging and shirt unbuttoned as he yelled from across the swimming pool "Aye! Yall gotta get out cause the pool finna close" ........ just felt he could have been more professional ‍ The continental breakfast was good but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! Overall I was pleased with my stay.
I’ve been in a back and forth battle trying to find out what happened to two large boxes that were sent to the hotel, signed for by Santiago, and then disappeared. They were boxes I needed to a trade show at the arena, they weren’t cheap, and for the last couple weeks, they haven’t been able to find them anywhere. These boxes were tracked and said they arrived before I did. I checked with staff all weekend as they “went out back” to look for them. Address was verified. I don’t know what else to do but leave a review for such shady service. I’ll never come back to this hotel and I would not recommend it. Noteworthy details: Don’t ship anything here for any reason, it might disappear.
Was double-charged for a room and the account manager Maureen wouldn't even open the e-mail I sent over to help prove my case. Couldn't be less helpful and just stating that I needed to handle it with the site I booked through and didn't even seem even slightly interested in helping me.Service: 1/5
Gym is pathetic, doesn’t open until 6am limited selection of machines. Cable machine broken. No AC in gym, have some automatic setting for AC you can’t adjust and it was hotter than heck. Cardio Machines are bad, they turn off if you have to stop for 1 second. Rooms are sub par. Pool doesn’t open until 10am so can use it for exercise. Ordered a $50 prime rib dinner, requested rare, steak came WAY overcooked and tasted like cardboard. Will never come here again.
Hotel is nice, valet is non exsistant. Parking area is sketch i for sure thought someone might brake in to our car. Check in is bias on CC options they told me since Ally is not a Major bank LOL tell that to Ally. So I had to use my BOA card. Rooms are large ours did not smell like smoke like other that reviewed, great view but people were outside yelling till after 12am. Shower has lukewarm water, rooms don't have AC or did and they decided we had enough and we slept in a hot room. Walls are thin and we listened to kids jumping for a few hours. This is Stockton, but damn they kinda failed this hotel.
My experience here was great. It was a birthday celebration at the bar and lounge area open to the public. Bartender was great. Food service was prompt and delicious. Server was awesome. Lounge area setup is pretty homey and comfortable. Nice scenery of the city. Good vibes. Place to create good traditions and memories with friends and family.
