Was paying $1,000 for a one bedroom in the U district, plus $100 for 2 vehicles back in late 1990`s. This was a great deal for my brother & I plus the neighbors were very nice when we bought a mobile home and moved here in 2000. Over time many of the nice people moved out due to job relocation or finally saved enough to buy a house. The owner was more than fair on the space rent & this was a nice safe place to live. Over the years due to a combination of extreme storms and neglect from disabled tenants on fixed incomes, this place did change in a not so nice looking way. I've seen many Hispanic families move in as they are hard workers, quiet and friendly. A few undesirable types managed to get in here and it was obvious due to the street people & the homeless panhandling, we now had the drug element here adding to the "not as nice as before" look! But things are getting better here, the manager, Steve has been keeping the riff raff out and since my brother passed 2 yrs. ago, I'd be on the street if not for the affordability here, me being disabled myself. This park is close to everything and its what you make of it while living here. Some very nice trailers, Motorhomes, & mobile homes here. But also some run down ones also. This place has been good to me & I hope to see it improve to a nice park. Most of the people who live here are grateful it is here.
Inspite of how nappy the place looked, I needed a place to live. For work my fiancee and i have to stay in the area. So I spoke to steve the manager about what might be available, he asked how big my trailer was, I told him I didnt have one yet, and was looking to buy one. He said fill out the app. Not sure what size they could accomidate or if they had a spot, or what services may be included or the big one, how much. Every question i asked, "fill out the app" no answer otherwise. So I bought a 34ft 2000 cardinal. Filled out the app. He said i needed exact reference adresses in full. I obliged. Brought it back. Had a friend put in a good word with his buddy who owns the place. I was told to go at this time, so i did. Steve wouldn't answer the door. I proceeded to go back 9 more times at differant times of day and night, for the next 6 dayS and few more times in the next week. My fiancee left a few phone messages. Steve never answered the door, it was even open a couple times, screen door closed and locked from the inside never answered his phone nor called us back. Now my trailer is burdening my friend hogging up his driveway while I try to find an alternative. Thanks Steve.
I Lived there for 17 yrs and they sold it and all they give my family is 3500 dollars to move i just dont think thats right after we Lived there for 17 yrs .And i lived in that area for 53 yrs and now we had to move to tacoma.I just wanted to let everyone know what these guy's did to all thoughs family.
Omg what a dump! Nobody cares what their area looks like! Everything is trashed and moldy and run down! It would be better to live under a bridge! At least it would be cleaner!
:/ This place is just behind where I live and it's sketch as HELL. Still, I don't like the idea that it might be destroyed to make room for impossibly expensive housing.
reminds me of BAD trailer parks in the deep south.
the manager sucks & the owner is no better!
Permanently closed. It is now a construction site
Its a huge mess bigtime ya dig
