University Union Performing Arts:
The University Union Performing Arts Board prides itself on bringing the best high-profile and undiscovered comedians, speakers and special events to the university. Each member helps in choosing what acts will come to campus and deciding how to best meet the desires of the diverse student body. Members also work on promotion, public relations, research and the production aspects of planning large scale events. ([email protected])
University Union Concerts:
UU Concerts is charged with bringing a variety of concerts to campus. In order to touch upon everyone’s interests the Music Board coordinates annual large-scale shows such as Juice Jam and Block Party, as well intimate club shows put on by the Bandersnatch Concert Series. Students who join the Concerts Board will learn about securing venues, working with agents, reviewing contracts and all other aspects of putting on a successful show. Members also have the opportunity to work day-of-show production, gaining valuable experience by working behind the scenes. ([email protected])
University Union Marketing:
UU Marketing works to promote the organization on a variety of levels. The marketing board works to raise general awareness about University Union as a whole as well as promote individual events that the various boards hold. Members of the board work to create and distribute fliers, brochures, press releases and handbills in order to accomplish wide-scale promotion efforts in both traditional and creative ways. We also look for ways to engage the university on social media through posts about our events as well as contests that we run during each show.

University Union Cinemas:
University Union Cinemas screens movies every Friday through Sunday night in HBC Gifford. The Cinemas Board aims to bring pre-released blockbuster and independent films as well as offer previews of films before theatrical release. By bringing a wide array of films to campus the Cinemas Board is able to enhance and diversify programming for the university and the community at large. As a member of the Cinemas Board you would not only help run the weekly screenings but also have a say in the types of programming that are brought to campus.
