To foster a safe community surrounding the University of Oregon to provide a higher quality of life and greater experience to all residents. To create a value-added relationship between the University and the Eugene community through events, campaigns, and outreach. To provide off-campus students with access to resources on-campus and in the community.
Objectives
• Educate students regarding the impact of student behavior on themselves, friends, and their community members.
• Educate students about substance abuse and renting laws, including their rights and responsibilities.
• Provide students with strategically targeted resources to enable them to provide benefit to the community environment.
• Advocate for healthy student behavior and correct student perceptions on social norms.
• Develop strategies to increase positive student behaviors in edge neighborhoods.
