Once they were bought out by Kintegra, they went down hill. I was seen by McDowell, my normal doctor, and was diagnosed with a sinus infection and sent an antibiotic in. The pharmacy wouldn’t fill it because it was something I was allergic to. The pharmacy called and I called over and over and finally, 4 days later, something else was called in for me. It was in my file I was allergic to that medicine! I no longer go there because the last straw was when I called for an appointment because I was having an active asthma attack. I needed to be seen asap and needed a steroid. They wouldn’t call a steroid in, but said they didn’t have any appointments for almost 3 weeks and said to call back the following morning and maybe I could be seen as a same day appointment. I asked if the other offices had anything and I was put on hold for 5 minutes and then hung up on. I was able to get in at a different office, where I go now, the same day.
Anne is the Best doctor and really takes time to learn her patients and their needs she actually sits down and listens to people and try to get to the bottom of things! I would not want to see any other doctor she actually cares and I’m grateful to be her patient! She’s helped me so much over the past years I’ve been seeing her as my primary care doctor!
I went there last month for my regular scheduled check up. Front desk female person was very rude, told me my appointment was rescheduled for several weeks later down the road. I was notified the previous day from them as appointment reminder/confirmation! She implied to me that I didnt keep up with my appointment date. Time to find a new provider, no wonder the place is always empty!
Always friendly and does what needs to be done good Drs and great staff
I will not be back. Front desk receptionist isn't friendly. I made my appointment to be seen by McDowell, however, I was seen by a student. Who by far, was the nicest person there. But I was barely looked at. The actual Dr I was supposed to see came in for all of 2 minutes to tell me a prescription had been sent to my pharmacy. He didn't even look at me. He didn't even assess my situation. He didn't even accompany the student when she assessed me. He acted like he didn't have time to see me. I will never go back here! Spent nearly $100 and the actual dr with whom I had the appointment with never even got his stethoscope out. He didn't even take a single look at the issue I visited for. The student did take a small peak thru the side of my bandage.
Dr Allen is a flake. I have had issues getting medicine refilled for 2 months straight. First they were updating the phone and computer systems, the next she was on vacation, now what is the excuse?! All you have to do is reply to the pharmacy request. At least ONE request as CVS has sent at least 5 refill request in 2 months and STILL nothing. Get your act together. Not that complicated!
The clinic has gone downhill within the last year or so. It's nearly impossible to get them to fill out and send paperwork to other facilities in a timely matter. We have been waiting over a month for them to send chart notes to a special equipment company so my husband's hoyer lift can be fixed. The student drs are rude as well.
Wonderful!! I have to visit doctors on a very regular basis. Laura Hastings here at CLECO Upper Cleveland, is by far the most compassionate and caring doctor that I see. She never rushes me, is genuinely concerned, and is willing to help with any problems that I have been able to present her with. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor who actually cares for her patients and her profession.
I'm a patient here and so far I have nothing but issues. My husband and I work out of state and my pharmacy and I both are trying to get refills for meds. This time has been over a week and I still don't have a call in. If I was home, I would find another doctor, but do you do when your out of state for 6 months. Smh
The pa's are great the problem is the communication between the pa's and the staff there is little to none, i myself have had issues with this, it takes entirely to long for any process in that building. It needs to be fixed. Doc maybin the old mans picture who hangs in that building is probably turning over in his grave as he founded that practice a very long time ago and its went to hell in a handbasket.
