* Secure your account with a strong password.
* Lock down your privacy controls to a level of least privilege. For Facebook,
set everything to "Friends Only".
* Make sure you know who you are friending.
* Make sure you run anti-virus software on your personal computer and keep
the software updated.
* Apply operating system patches as they become available to ensure you are
protected from known security flaws.
* Secure your password and user ID.
