When we adopted our pup, he was very fearful and had never learned the basics, such as walking on a leash. It was clear that he needed training. Thankfully I came across this amazing Dog Training Club. We worked our way up several obedience courses and even qualified with a Canine Good Citizen certification. Our dog enjoyed classes so much that we expanded into Rally and Agility training, and we couldn't be happier with how this had helped him blossom into a happy, confident dog. The club is run by highly experienced volunteers who clearly love dogs. This also helps keep class costs very affordable. All the instructors are fantastic and we have learned so much, and classes are a lot of fun. Both my pup and I love coming here!
I just finished taking two classes puppy tricks class and basic obedience with my 9 month old miniature Australian shepherd puppy. The classes were great. When my puppy had struggles with certain things the instructors really went out of their way to work with my puppy and me. She really came out of her shell throughout the classes and they gave me the assistance I needed to get her to follow the commands. I can’t be more happy with this facility and instructors I have had classes with Heather, Jo Ann and Bruce I have already started her in sub-novice obedience classes with Judy and we enjoyed our first class. I will continue to drive 30+ minutes to this facility to continue with the training of my puppy to ensure that she has the best possible chance of success in her training. I do plan on taking more tricks classes for fun to continue to strengthen the bond with my puppy but most importantly having her trained as a therapy dog when she is old enough.
Long-standing dog club in Pinellas. Great place for all sort of dog training. From basic manners and obedience and puppy classes right through to competitive obedience, conformation, therapy, agility and so much more. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. They teach to all levels. It's a wonderful Club that cares about their members and dogs.
Great trainers, clean facility, happy dogs. My Jaxon got his Obedience Training and Therapy Dog certificate here. He absolutely LOVES coming to class and learning more commands now he is a popular face at our local hospital and 2 nursing homes...
We had an incredible first experience with Kerri and Bonnie at the Upper Suncoast Dog Training Club in Clearwater for conformation class. Now I see why people drive an hour to go to this class. Highly recommend them as the best in Pinellas County. Cannot wait until next time, how much fun!!
I would not recommend this training to any one. You would wait and watch each dog go through training until it was your turn and by that time, the class ended. I also had a workers dog attend a training class who ended up biting my puppy. Towards the end of the 7 weeks, the instructor spent an entire class discussing how to keep your dog clean and grooming. I couldn’t take anymore of this and signed up for a different obedience training with a different organization and was wonderful. Don’t waste your money with upper suncoast.
Lovey my Terrier Poodle mix is now officially certified for the pup project. She will be making emotional support care visits to hospice and surrounding hospitals. Our beloved dog Lovie has passed away April 25th 2022 due to legions of cancer in her lungs. We will miss her very much!
Just finished my second course and what a great learning experience for both my dog and I. Ken and Donna were informative, knowledgeable and so helpful. Had fun and met some great people. Would definitely recommend the club and especially these trainers
Great trainers and obviously a well established dog training school. My puppy enjoyed ever minute and the trainers went over the top with helping the people and puppies that needed a little extra attention.
Supportive positive environment to bond and improve you and your dogs lives. Highly recommend, wide range of classes including agility, obedience, and practice for the show ring.
