So if you cannot be at home to sign for a package that requires a signature this is where UPS holds your package in the Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham area. It is a little hard to find since you turn down Rex Rd and then have to drive towards the back and then make sure you park in the customer parking which is 75% parked in by I'm assuming employees. You can also ship packages at this location, but they don't really have a lot of packing supplies here. Also if the employee doesn't know how to look up packages then you're out of luck. Also weird hours 3-8pm Monday through Friday no weekends.
I shipped couple of packages from here. Customer support is very helpful and Jameka Johnson has helped on last minute shipments. Thank you Jameka and UPS
They were supposed to open at 5:00 pm and they did not open the door until 5:45 pm to let us know they would not be open after all. Six customers waited outside since 4:55 pm as the temperature dropped. What if it were raining, too? That number grew to a dozen over the hour. Many with Christmas packages in hand to deliver on December 23rd. None of us were ready to be standing outdoors that long. I've read the owner's apologies in these reviews, but that doesn't make the poor service--or disrespect--any better. By the way, the UPS Customer Service representative on the phone confirmed that they should've opened tonight at 5 pm, plus Google Maps reported it would be open at 5:00 pm. Shame on you, UPS, to allow this to continue.
Tried to ship a package that had to be sent from a hub and was told the only person at this location that could generate labels had quit. I was further told I should check back in a week or two. How can a facility and company as large as UPS not have an active business continuity plan in place? The level of customer service I experience on 5Mar2022 at this location was unacceptable.
My first interaction with them was when they received a package for Chapel Hill, didn't deliver it for two days, sent it to Virginia, routed it back to Chapel Hill, sent it to Raleigh and then I finally went to talk to them. They confirmed that it had been sent to Raleigh and said that they had no idea why. They promised it the next day, which happened. I have another package due today that didn't get delivered yesterday, although it showed on tracking as out for delivery. It showed as out for delivery today since 8 am. It's 10 pm now. Do you know where it is, because the local UPS terminal is unlikely to have a clue. I would gladly pay more for the shipping to avoid these people.
This place is super horrible I go here because it’s closest to my home but I rather not they charge me three dollars and 50 Cent to print out a label when every other UPS I’ve ever been to only charges me $.50 which is the printing fee I’m cool with but this location tries to charge you for an hour of computer time just for emailing your label to them today I returned two packages that were meant to go back to Amazon one was in my husbands name and one was in mine. My husband’s package has been picked up from the store andAlready has a refund for the item. the item I tried to return still says I haven’t dropped it off at the store I don’t know what is going on here but when I try to call corporate they told me to be patient but it makes no sense how one package got sent out today and the other one didn’t I am not happy the employees there a really rude and can’t hold their tongues they tell you to go somewhere else if you don’t like it I think they’re really pocketing the three dollars and just charge and 50 Cent to the company.
I have had problems with this facility since I moved here. I once had my package left on the back of my neighbors porch, I've never had my package delivered on time. I called to speak to someone about my current delivery and was assured that I would receive it today, and they still did not deliver saying that the address is wrong. If I could leave less than one star, I WOULD. I guess I would be picking my package up from now on to avoid problems in the future.
Horrible, absolutely Horrible, I worked there for a couple months. During my time there they have; drove off while i was in the back of the truck, forgot to put my time im so I didn't get paid for 3 weeks, boxes have been thrown and hit me in the head and the shift managers would just laugh, other employees and supervisors had horrible attitudes and obscene language. I had called out on Halloween night and was told not to come back until i came back with a covid test the test took a week to come back and i was told i was taken off the payroll and haven't herd from them since. This is a horrible, unorganized, inconsiderate, and hateful environment it needs to be closed asap.
Friendly and capable employees here. Note that this location is just a UPS Customer, which serves as a place to pick up packages or drop off pre-labeled packages. If you need additional services, there are several UPS Stores nearby. Their houra have been affected during the COVID-19 pandemic. As of August 2020, they're open from 5pm-8pm Monday through Friday.
Never had a problem with ups until a sick individual from this facility decided to take my boyfriends package out of the box & still had the nerve to deliver it empty. Will definitely be contacting the corporate office because any employee who steals packages should not be trusted much less shouldn’t even have a job. Will be further investigating this issue.
