For the past 2 days I have waited for my packages. The driver showed up at my home and just left. Both emails I received saying the packages were in route were false. I received another email later each day saying operational delay. After spending over an hour with the automated system on the phone I was finally able to speak with someone who was no help. She said that the meaning of the operational delay is that my packages have no left the warehouse. She sent my number over to someone to start a case and that was all. What happened to customer service. I should not call and speak to a robot who can not help me at all. Also what happened to reporting accurate information to the customer. I really needed my packages today and for them not to shop up is really upsetting. I will never use fedex again because it seems they do not care for their customers time!
I had 2 packages delivered to my home on 9 February. The individual carried the packages down my LONG driveway and placed them on the steps to my deck. He greeted me pleasantly and wished me a good day as he left. Great service!!
I missed my robovac delivery 3 times, after request to hold for pick up. Who working in the front women was wonderful and helpful lot . Thanks for great service
requested a Hold for Pick-up today, Saturday Feb 4th, as it was set to arrive Monday but was at this location, which is 15 mins from me. I misunderstood that a HFP request isn't immediate, and arrived soon after said request, but the woman at the front desk and her manager assisted me anyways, and I walked out with my package less than 15 minutes later. Great staff.
It appears my package was stolen by someone at this facility / delivery person. Expensive equipment gone! It was reported as "damaged" but then "all merchandise missing" and "empty carton". Was in UPS custody the entire time and now the package is "empty"??? I was never contacted, my shipper not contacted. Had to call multiple times to get any tracking information. Web chat was useless. Phone customer service knew nothing. Overall experience with UPS was horrendous.
UPS leaves my packages or around in my mailbox, NOT at my front door as indicated in the tracking log. My mailbox is at the intersection of another street, ¾ mile away from my house. They even leave perishable and fragile packages down there - visible to anyone driving down the major county road. This just started in November, prior to then, UPS would drive to my house and leave packages in my labeled package box. There is no one I can reach to rectify this continual problem.
When I checked the tracking of my package, I found that there was a “disruption of service” and the package was scheduled to be returned to the sender. That's a biit strange, because I have used the same address before. I immediately called the help line and offered to pick it up. However, I was told that it's not possible. I need to contact the sender for help. When I contacted the sender, the sender only offered partial refund and insisted I have to pay for the shipping even though I did not receive the package. Why does a customer has to pay for the mistake done by UPS? Edit - 1/11/2023 Another bad experience with UPS. The driver left my package in the dock of our building. When I got to the dock, the package was gone. This is the second time they did it. Don’t know if they will improve their service or not in the future. Definitely not recommended, at least not in Durham area. Edit - 1/16/2023 The vendor was nice to send replacement immediately. However, UPS messed up the delivery again. This time, they claimed the address is wrong. Tried to call, cannot get a live person to answer the phone. Tried to message @UPS on Instagram, and got a message saying they don't accept new message on Instagram. Great! /s
UPS CC at Miami Blvd, Durham NC has come through for my business multiple times. Most of my asks are near the end of the day, so Brittany is usually my hero, and sometimes even drivers that happen to be passing through the front area have lended a hand. Kathy has been my hero on many, many occasions! And she always remembers me maybe I'm infamous ; and I value that personal touch which is so rare these days. She has the wisdom of experience. While I often have service issues with UPS in general, and issues on the customer service line, I consider this customer center and its great employees my go-to.
I didn't want to use UPS , and I will never use UPS after this. I was never notified when my package was going to be delivered to my apartment. Even my contact information was deleted from my account after I put it in. I have to sign for the package but I also have to work. Evidently I'm expected to take off work to stay home to wait on this package to be delivered so I can sign for it. Now I have to wait a whole day for the package to go to a store that's less than 5 miles from where I live. I spoke with multiple people in customer support and none were any help. I spoke with an employee at this center and they were exceptionally rude and unhelpful. For a company that is supposed to deliver packages it really seems like UPS is trying its best to just not deliver anything. Meanwhile the only thing I get for dealing with all this hassle is a "that's too bad" from UPS. There's literally no accountability and it's ridiculous.
I just want to give a shout out to Kathy or Cathy—I forgot to ask her how she spells her name. She is great! After speaking with THREE different UPS toll-free customer service reps, getting different answers, Kathy called me about the package in question, which had a wrong address on it not UPS’s fault. She was so nice and so helpful and ensured that the address was corrected right away and that the package was shipped to the correct address that day. This really mattered, because the package was a Christmas gift for my dad, and now he’ll have it in time. She even followed up with me the next day to tell me the status of the package! Above and beyond, for sure! Kathy/Cathy, thank you so much!
