Not good. There is a lawsuit being filed this week and I think Upswing may be close to losing their Better Business Bureau accreditation. I just got off the phone with the BBB and they told me that Upswing has not answered any of their communications and they are on their final notice. MY STORY: I was out of my home for TWO MONTHS. They started the job on September 11th and the job was still not correctly finished by November 11th, when I moved back in. The job was supposed to take 1 week. There was issue, after issue, after issue. You can see many of them in the attached photos. The first issue was patches of bubbling across large sections of the floor. Upswing had to come back and buff the top-coat off and re-apply it. The second issue was bugs stuck to the top coat. They had to come back and "hand touch up" over 8 areas, leaving outlines where it was touched up. The third issue was the polyeurathane cracking, leaving white lines across nearly every seam in our new flooring. They had to come back and redo the ENTIRE JOB sanding, staining, finishing etc. The fourth issue was more polyeurathane cracking even after they redid the entire job, leaving even more white lines than last time. They damaged my water line and left a note on it stating "please replace". Never reimbursed. They left stain on my cabinets, walls and windows. They said they would try to remove it - they either didn't try, or it didn't work. It is now December 28th - it has been over 3 months since Upswing began, and the floor is still in a terrible condition. Upswing has stopped answering texts and emails, and they have not responded to the BBB. We will have to settle this in court. I'll update this review at that time.
Fantastic all around!! Upswing flooring did a great job from start to finish. Mena and Chris were polite, respectful and had great attention to detail. They were prompt, efficient and very responsive to all my questions. They transformed our dull worn-out hardwoods into beautiful "new" floors. Amazing job guys thanks so much!!!

I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Upswing Flooring. Mena and Chris installed hardwood floors in one room and stained and refinished existing hardwood floors in another room. The floors are beautiful. The process they use is dustless, so there was no need to clean up after the installation! Mena and Chris provide exceptional service and are professional and courteous. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other companies, but the quality and customer service is unparalleled. I highly recommend Upswing Flooring.

I am incredibly happy with my refinished hard wood living room floor . Mena and Chris did a great job, they both worked very hard. Fast , professional and courteous . My red oak floor looks absolutely fabulous . I highly recommend their services !
In March 2018 Upswing Flooring refinished all the rochester flooring in our house for a very competitive price. Before refinishing, large areas of water damage existed beneath a couple windows, elsewhere there were some exceedingly warped floor slats and lastly there were areas where slats were missing. One would never have known of these problems by looking at the finished floors. Upswing Flooring did an excellent job. Mena was the man-in-charge who I dealt with and he was polite, punctual and professional. He addressed all our concerns pre and post refinishing. I recommend Upswing Flooring.
I had a great experience with Mena and Chris. They were very responsive and showed up on time every day they said they would. The floors look great and the color is what we picked out. They followed up after the job was done to confirm that everything was good. I definitely would recommend them to friends and family.
the president of upswing flooring came to my home to give an estimate for install of kitchen floor. He gave me a price a bit high but for the convenience I accepted it. He asked for a deposit in order to hold the opening for me. He had to purchase some other materials so I gave him a check for $200.00. He scammed me by never showing up and not answering his phone.
Mena and Chris did a terrific job on our floor, which included lacing new wood into old. It looks fantastic, and we are very pleased with the result. Thank you, Upswing!
