Loved the old time feeling and nostalgia while still having the new shows. Great prices, great movies and so comfortable.
Great prices compared to the "big theaters". The concessions are a little pricey, but they have some great deals to level out the costs to patrons. We'll definitely be visiting again.
It's sad to see how much this theater has gone downhill. It's a cluttered mess inside and the new owner behaves so oddly while I was there I almost walked out without seeing my movie. I love the idea of a small family owned theater, but after the very uncomfortable interaction with the owner I will never be back.
Make sure you check out this theater. Every time I come to town I come to this cinema. The old owners were awesome. And the new owners are awesome also. Great family running this cinema. Always polite and I feel like part of the family. Love that this cinema is still opened. Thanks for all you do.
We had a great time. The owners I'm guessing , maybe Mgrs treated us sooo good. They are very friendly people and that is so refreshing. The theatre was nice and clean and thanks to someone else they paid for everything. I have 3 kiddos and going to movies isn't cheap .... So thank you to whomever you were. That was very very kind of you. My kids got all the goodies popcorn drink and choice of candy. It was a real treat. thanks again to the 2 running it. You guys are superb.
Small Ma-and-Pa independent theater. I love the idea of this and really want to give it a higher rating, but I just can't. We arrived and met the wife and her daughter. They were absolutely delightful and really won me over. However, the theater was just a mess. It was terribly cluttered, and felt more like someone's basement than a business. The speakers in our theater weren't that great, and the projector was just enough out of focus that it was a bit of a distraction. After the movie we ran into the husband and chatted with him. He was nice, but very odd. After a couple minutes my wife an I started eyeing each other trying to decide if he was high or drunk. Either way, he couldn't pick up on the cues that were trying to leave and just kept droning on. I really, really want this to be a local artsy film house, but unfortunately was just too weirded out to ever come back.
So nice to be welcomed warmly by the owners and staff. Sweet theater and so reasonable. Snack and sodas good too and as for the price well every theatre I have been too is pricey in that area. You do not have to buy snacks but by doing so you may be helping this family .business su.
I love supporting small business & this is one of my favorite! They no longer serve alcohol but will be adding a Brewery in the future! How fun! They have popcorn & snacks & all. The ONLY down side is the older chairs in the theaters. But I've sat on much worse for way longer! So we don't mind! Come check them out! Also special summer deals for you lucky stay-at-home parents or babysitters!
The young man working there must have been having a bad day. He was not pleasant. The lobby and theater were not clean. It was not a good experience. As much as I like to support locally owned businesses, I will be going to the Cinemark in the future.
Drove with two friends to Uptown 3 on Jan. 19, 2022 to see an early film. Web site indicated showings starting at 12:30 running through the day and night. Place was locked up and dark. Waited to see if anyone would show up - no one ever did. Called multiple times through the day to check on theater status, no one ever answered. Has the theater closed? I'm a fan of Uptown 3 and want to see them succeed. But it is hard. Today, 2/25/22, I check the website and it says, "no shows currently scheduled." Hard to support them when I don't know what if anything is playing today. They should really have listings for Friday available by mid-week at least.
