Uptown Laundry

NICE! After reading the reviews, I was skeptical to come here. It’s actually a really nice place. The staff was nice. They were cleaning and working on washers while I was there. I will definitely be coming back.

Walked in and it was the dirtiest business I ever seen, then I spent twice as much as I have at other laundry mats and still left wit damp clothes when I didn't at the ones I spent half the money at. I will never return!!!

There's no one there to help . I called the number offered for the business they had posted. so me and my woman could use the restroom.The guy said he was at another job sight. There was clothes left in the washer that was molded. Poor upkeep

The place was clean,all the washers and dryers that I used all worked and I never lost any money from faulty machines .No complaints

I had a good experience doing laundry, if that's possible? The place was very clean. The attendant was attending. I got some valuable phone numbers from the little bulletin board. They have "free laundry days". I think It's twice Ina month at that location. 3 free loads for 1 person and up from there depending on household size. I really did have a good experience in a laundromat in Orlando once, but that story is for another time and place. All in all, it's a nice, clean, well supplied and alot of washers and dryers. I say GO!!! THANKS

Cleanest facility in town. Most number of machines and diverse sizes of machines. If there is ever an issue, Gary handles it immediately. I've been using this facility for 7 years. Only reason looked into other places today, which were all unacceptably dirty and unkempt and I did not use any of them, is because city has water shut off for construction. Highly recommend this facility above all others in town. I am a professional in sales with very nice expensive clothing and when used properly the washers and dryers do very well.

Went there and spent $10 just trying to dry my little load of laundry before I realize they don't work they wasn't even getting hot with the high temp on my clothes where cold. On top of that half there washers wasn't on so me being db didn't realize it and put my money in a washer that was off wasted my detergent and money I thought it ces on when yu put the coins in and there wasn't a sign saying it don't work. And don't expect to charge your phone while waiting 3 hours for your clothes to dry there are no outlets. Worst one in Richmond!

Dryer 25c/4min I did not find the five dryers I used to be fast drying compared to others In town. Washers 2.50 only 4 large washers. I do large amounts of cloths and this laundry facility is the most expensive for me. Never seems busy. Dark/ lights off during daylight hours. Not a warm feeling kind of place. Turned light on only when Worker did paper work on table. Yet another worker sharply tells others no hands can touching the tables just clean cloths. Due to Covid-19. But lets my husband smiling and giggled at him. Worker quietly comes up behind me to see what I was doing on cell. Took pic of inside for review and worker called me weird. When waiting on the last dryer, the last 2 minutes I placed two laundry bottles down up against Wall by dry instead of under table so as in excitement to leave I would not forget them. Standing close by dryer, I was told by the worker and not so nicely to remove them now because She was coming through there in a few minutes and my two bottles are in her way. My husband walked over and removed them smiling as she smiled back and giggled. No bathrooms open. No working sink.

4 minutes on the dryers?! No bathrooms, not even a working sink. Washers dont fill up all the way if you use anything but cold water and it literally costs more money to use warm or hot water. Won't be returning.

Older gentleman that ownes this place has been very pleasant to me when I have ran over the time that he closed told me to take my time no rush. Not in a great part of town but it’s clean and the washers work great..... bathrooms are currently locked because of drug use there I’m assuming. Prices are a little high but dryers dry fast.
