This is a community-wide organization that has come together since 2014 to host an annual Easter Egg Hunt and Safety Saturday event.
Edgewood Park Easter was founded with the vision of a community based Easter Egg Hunt, open to the public for any family to enjoy.
We have created a space for families to enjoy a fun morning playing together and finding treat-filled eggs. Eggs are either filled with wrapped pieces of candy, stickers, temporary tattoos, or small toys. With our schedule of activities, families with children of different ages can each have their own egg hunt, finding eggs among the grass and rocky boulders, while their siblings play on the playground. Children also have fun finding partners for the three-legged race and choosing dyed eggs for the egg-on-the-spoon race.
What began as one mom's vision has grown into a community sponsored event supported by three neighborhood associations, two church communities, and countless families and friends joining together.
UpTown North Easter strives to create a welcoming community event for all families to come together, find treat-filled eggs, play games, and visit with their favorite emergency responders for Safety Saturday.
