Welcome to Urban Country Girl. This page was created for gals like me that live in the city, but thrive on their inner farm girl. I will be posting recipes that are seasonal, with my occasional craft projects in the works. I grew up in Santa Paula, California. This small town (back in the day) thrived on produce and agriculture that most Americans consume each day. Where I grew up we cut our tree down at Christmas, we cut our pumpkin off the vine in the fall, and we handpicked strawberries, oranges, lemons, and avocados. I now reside in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This town also thrives on homegrown produce and vegetables, and lots of agriculture as well. You can shop in town or drive a few miles to a local farmer for farm fresh eggs. Although I miss the West Coast, and reside on the East Coast, my inner farm girl will always remain intact.
