Finally! I found a dentist whose office was pleasant without having different teams of staff up in my grill for up-sales, billing/finance and all that other stuff they do these days in modern dental offices. Dr. Kate Plagenz was truly a professional who was extremely knowledgeable, informative, kind and was always in the moment. Absolutely wonderful staff, and state of the art equipment. I highly recommend Daybreak Dental. I honestly can’t express how happy I am to have been recommended to Daybreak Dental! Please keep doing what you do and don’t change a thing! Thank you!
From the moment I parked to the moment I left and walked out the door I was impressed! The location is fun with funky, modern businesses around. The receptionist was a sweetheart. The hygienist was absolutely wonderful. She was gentle, thorough and a pleasure to talk to. The dentist was a joy to interact with as well. The facility was equipped with newer equipment that I hadn't seen before which made the process more in depth and easier. And not having dental insurance at the moment, it was amazing that my first cleaning was only $99! So so grateful. Thank you Daybreak, I've already recommended your services to a friend!
Dr Rausch is great - has been my dentist for 15 years - long time. A few crowns to replace old fillings, has been grate at taking care of my teeth and not pushing to do work that is not needed. Liz, my dental hygienist this week was great - very detailed and and took a good hour of work just cleaning and X-rays. It’s a lot of work even with the modern ultrasonic cleaning tool, one need to use manual tools for hard to reach. It’s nice to see people that enjoy what they do and care for others. Front desk team is also long term and great.
I have been going to this Daybreak Dental for some years now and I wanted to leave a review on how great my experience is. Dentist visits usually aren’t usually enjoyable, but going to a different dentist it has made me really appreciated my experience here. At the other dentist office with their methods and procedures led to me having a very painful experience and on the verge of malpractice. Here at Daybreak dental they take the time and consideration to ensure you know what they are doing and that they doing a quality job. Dr. Rausch has been my dentist for many years and with those years comes much experience and highly recommend him. Also the front desk receptionist Angie and everyone that works there is always greet me with a smile and I feel so welcomed. I’m glad I went back to this dentist and continue to have healthy teeth.

Dr. Mortensen and his staff are absolutely wonderful! They are professional and caring. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I've had plenty of dental work done! I love these people!!
Due past surgical procedures on my neck I need a lot of special accommodations to get dental work done. I have searched for two years to find a dentist that could or would help me. Previous the finding Daybreak Dental and Dr Rausch every dentist I spoke to said they could not help me. When zi called Daybreak they immediately said yes, no problem. Today I had my initial visit and am very happy to say their service was outstanding even considering my extra requirements. I can just imagine how great their service is for people without extra problems.
Great dentist and usually the front desk ladies are very kind and helpful. Lauren is not one of those ladies. I was a patient previously root canal, cleaning, etc I need some work done so I called to gage pricing and timeline but was hung up on. I then called back and Lauren told me I hung up first, very rude and was clearly trying to rush me off the phone. Lovely office and again the dentist is a very competent and kind man.
I have been daybreak dental's patient since 2020 fall. Dr. Mortensen took care of me in the beginning. He did root cannel treatment for me and put a crown as well, but after treatment, that teeth didn't feel right, I always feel there are something still inside or under the gums. I tried floss many times, using water picker, etc. but still feel wrong, I complained to Dr. Mortensen, he suggested me to remove the wisdom teeth which was connected to the treated teeth, I listened to him, but after removed wisdom teeth, that teeth still has un-normal feeling, he and Dr. P both checked, they said they cannot find anything wrong, and referred me to see root cannel specialist, which will cost more than $2k to solve the issue, this made me disappointed. I paid more than $1000 to have my teeth treated but couldn’t really fixed all issues, I don’t want to spend another $2K for fix it. Luckily, this teeth is not feel pain, it just made me feel something is always in that teeth, it made me a little unconformable. After that, I don’t use that side to chow foods. Dr. P tried to persuaded me to do the root cannel on the other side, I am afraid if i did than both side teeth cannot work appropriately, so I didn't do it. After that they put me on a periodontal dental treatment, then the fees were getting so confused, they stated it is because insurance, blablabla, but from my end, I just feel frustrated that before the cleaning, they were not very cleared to notify me the correct info about which treatment can be claimed on insurance and which can not. Last year, after I did my tooth clean, they asked me to pay $56, I thought it was covered by my insurance, but they explained, because my gum issue, I have to do periodontal clean, or something like this, and insurance can not cover all. Well, why don’t you let me know before the clean? Most recently, I went to clean again, I was told I need to pay $59 after insurance covered, and I was also told my next treatment will not be covered by insurance, which is fine, I paid at the office. But yesterday I received a bill for $38, I called asked why, the lady said because last treatment can not qualified to insurance coverage. Well, if it was not qualified, why don’t you tell me when I was there, or before the treatment. Their office manager sent me an email explained the schedule today, which looks ok, my frustration is, why I couldn’t get correct info when I was there? I don’t think their insurance work is satisfied me. I have to admit that Liz is a hygienist, she is very patient, and nice, clean the teeth every well. For all others, I really don’t want to comments more, if you are their patient, you will have your own feeling.
Everyone is very patient, caring and polite. They are very knowledgeable and handle insurance well. I have been going here for a lifetime and I'm very pleased with the work done on my teeth. I have and will continue to recommend them to my family and friends. Great job to everyone!
