Came here to buy a couch. The girls that work here are great. They don't follow you around and go into sell mode when you so much as glance at something. We were stalked by sales people at other furniture stores and hated it. Here, they just greet you and ask you every once in awhile if you have questions. Asked about a few pieces and they were very knowledgeable about their merchandise. We ended up buying a couch and they were able to schedule a delivery for the very next day, which is awesome. Their delivery company is a 3rd party and they were great too. I mean come on, the guys even wiped their feet before walking onto my carpet. Who else does that?! Very professional, assembled it for us in no time and even put it where we wanted it. I will say that the fee ended up being $129 for delivery which is kinda pricey $99 fee and $30 extra because we live on the second floor. Great experience all around and I hope to shop there again!
Urban home has some really attractive furniture; I especially like the way they use wood and the various industrial or farmhouse styles. Unfortunately, they appear to be completely closing down. So, everything is discounted heavily but there is increasingly little left.
Avoid this store. They treat customers like an expendable trash. Just a godawful customer service. Unfortunately, we spent a lot of money there over the last few weeks. Then the last time they sent us to their warehouse to pick up our purchase by ourselves. We waited there for over an hour, while the understaffed and incompetent personnel finally managed to find and bring us the two chairs that we purchased. The excuse was that the manager went away, and that only some recently hired staff, who did not know what's where, were on the site. They refused to compensate us in any way, and told us that the overall manager will call us the next day. No one did. The manager at the store itself was completely unapologetic. Basically the attitude was, too bad, we already took your money, we don't have to do anything. Not only will we never spend another cent there had they treated us right, they probably would have got at least several hundred $$ more of our business, but we are telling everyone about our dismal experience. When a store has no respect whatsoever for the demonstrably good customers, they don't deserve any. Stay away, and go shopping somewhere else, where they would be glad to have your business.
The customer service is very bad. They didn't give you any good advice about the product or helping you if you need help. I bought a sofa from them and it last only 3 years. I have to buy a new sofa from easy life. Easy life is a lot beter.
I recently furnished my new living room for under 2 grand!!! Quality feather couch, comfy chair and a half and a crafted wood table...I never thought I would find everything I needed in one place for such a great price. Check them out!
This placed has closed but is now called HomeGreat. Still selling furniture and at a pretty good price. The service is a little slow but they are going through a transition so I'm sure it will get better
"HomeGreat". Walked in, took a look around and 3 clerks at the front desk didn't seem to have the time or energy to look up from their phones/computer to even say hello. We walked out. Big mistake people. Drove to Bobs and spent my $k's over there.
Overall experience was good but buyer beware of what you are getting. Know that the quality is very cheap. If you are looking for inexpensive items that look good and are not expected to last long "selected asian hardwood veneers"? Laminated particle board made in Malaysia?. Most if not all of the leather looking furniture is not leather. It is a good place of last resort for me for the one oddball item that I am going to use to mix and match. Note that they have a very stringent policy on returns and will charge you a 20% "restocking fee", profit for them on the item even if unopened. They also also ask you to sign a waiver to circumvent guarantees by AMEX if you use your AMEX card.
When they say 50% off you expect a good deal but honestly their prices are still very high. Would explain why they're going out of business.
A lot of their going out of business items never reduce. They post tags as if it is a sale price, but haven't changed since the start.
